Looks like chances went up for the Triad. I hope we get some, my 3 year old hasn’t really ever seen snow and desperately wants to go sledding.
 
Looks like it’s still a possibility in Charlotte. Guess I’ll buy 3 loaves of bread, 6 dozen eggs and a few gallons of milk just in case.

Yeah, I'm in Greensboro and noticed the snow numbers have ticked up slightly this morning. Yay!

Our 15-year-old has outgrown all the snow clothes I've bought the past few years that he either wore once for 1-inch of snow or still have the tags. I did a mad dash to the Kville Target Monday at lunch to pick up a pair of men's snow pants. He's skinny and they are a medium, so they are falling off of him but will have to do. When they say moms will move heaven and earth... :LOL:
 
All the models are showing from 2 to 4 inches of snow for me except the NAM. It's warmer and only has an inch here. But it has been trending colder with its runs tonight.

People well north of the Mason-Dixon Line do panic grocery shopping before forecasted winter storms - just as Southerners do.

They also can’t drive well on unsalted, unplowed roads.

Why wouldn’t you just let a 15 year-old go out in the snow in blue jeans and a hoodie?

There are also some models showing no snow for Raleigh and freezing rain .25 and higher. WRAL is already tempering snow accumulations and starting to mention more ice. It is a typical central NC winter storm. You aren't going to know until it happens.
