This thread is totally random

I'm in a meeting with two type A guys who love to talk. I'm easily the most knowledgeable person in the meeting, but I can't get a word in. :censored:

Always thought it was an old wive's tale until my knee started aching ahead of certain meteorlogical events. Like the Monkees, I'm a believer now.

And I creak under normal conditions as well.

Really wish someone would've told me that random body parts were going to be hurting for no apparent reason in your 50s. Woke up with a sore knee...how the fuck did that happen?
My dad died in January 2023 at age 90. I was 68 at the time. I would call him to complain about some physical ailment, and his stock response was, “You ain’t seen shit yet.”
That’s the thing about getting older, when you are in your 30-40’s and something hurts you know why. When you get into your mid-50’s, things start hurting and you don’t know why.

Going to broil some hot dogs and do some oven baked potatoes tonight. Started a fresh batch of hot dog chili at halftime and feel obligated to test it.

My father was born November 4, 1920. He was such a cool guy and I miss him very much.FB_IMG_1730736926461.jpgFB_IMG_1730737050698.jpg
There is a picture like that of my Dad and a buddy on shore leave -in Cuba The ship -post WWII-was on its way from Japan to Baltimore area. The Captain "made up " a maintenance need so the Boys could see Havana

Walked through the garden site this morning. Found a strange plant formation. There was a group of four cutleaf grape ferns with a cranefly orchid growing in the middle. None of those are terribly common and finding the juxtaposition was a surprise. Maybe in the late spring when they are in better shape, I'll post a picture.
