That is not what I understood, but if you are correct, then carry on with the shoes. No skin off my nose.
I just do some light housekeeping from time to time around here these days, not content moderation.

And today I made a rather mild comment in response to a post.

I wouldn't call it praise, but it's shouldn't be a surprise to anyone that a heavy law enforcement presence would result in a decrease in crime.
1. I don't know that we have seen stats that actually show crime is down.
2. From what I have read, they are not patrolling the areas of town where a disproportionately higher number of crimes occur
3. Correlation =/= causation

Property manager is too high then. The maid that cleans twice a month.

Yes. I'm not intending to make a big deal of it. It was a minor annoyance to me but not a big deal. I only keep responding to the poster who intimated that I was wishing death upon the president. I am simply providing clarification that I was not.

Meh. Video says a lot of the arrests were IN 7 and 8.

I get that parents with children are concerned about loitering, drug dealing a prostitution, but it sounds like they're being a bit nit-picky. If NG aren't on the exact street THEY think they should be on, it's a problem.

It is interesting to see how much positive feedback there is, despite it being a Trump initiative. Turns out people just want to be safe where they live.

You don't have to hit every step on the way to the bottom when you take a pratfall down the stairs. Is there any of the little biases you miss?

Did you read all the links. The federal government isn’t patrolling in the crime areas and crime isn’t going down in the crime areas. The DC cops are making arrests, like they always do, in the crime areas and Baghdad Barbie is citing those arrest stats to refute the criticism that Trump is only patrolling the tourists areas.

Trump does not care about crime in DC. He just cares about showing feds on the streets of the tourist areas for the TV cameras.

True story: original script of Die Hard had it occurring in a masculine compound. At one going, Bruce Willis shouts, "Grass? Who gives a fuck about Grass?" Then the German guy blew him away, pulled off his scooby doo mask to reveal Zombie Hitler, and shot him between the eyes.

Thing is, this IS polling well for him. Not in DC but in places not at risk of this treatment.

T

The poll I just saw, as described in Miami Herald, had him underwater 47-34 or something like with a lot of undecided.
Except for Insider Advantage, which showed a surge of approval to 54%, Trump is below water overall but his best two issues in good and bad overall polling are handling of crime and immigration…
