He is saying that we will make a ton of money from tariffs and that will pay for everyone’s childcare and still have some left over.
Of course, that isn’t what will happen but once again journalists are dropping the ball by just pointing out the word salad and not pressing him on specifics.

I read an article several years ago which noted the odd fact that Fox viewers who exercised at a gym would turn all of the TV monitors they could to Fox News when they were there, and when they left. It was like a compulsion. I do believe for many Trumpers it's an addiction.
 


I don't believe I've ever seen someone autograph a US flag. Like ever. I think people are mostly intelligent enough to realize you shouldn't do that.

Guess not Trump nor his followers. If Kamala Harris autographed a US flag, Fox News would spontaneously combust.

No doubt. If Harris or Biden or Walz or any other Democrat did this then right-wing media would be foaming at the mouth for days and Trump & Vance would be denouncing "degenerate" un-American Democrats at every campaign stop, and right-wing veteran groups would be calling this a total desecration of the flag. But Trump is doing it so no one will likely care, other than that shrinking number of folks for whom hypocrisy still matters.

The next NYT/Sienna poll is pending but they also did a long story (gift link in this thread) about how The Apprentice was manipulated to hide what an unprepared, self-centered dunce Trump was with editing to make the person he fired look worse.
