VP Kamala Harris was a former prosecutor. She would have done well on the world stage.

There was 4 previous years of trump to judge his effectiveness against Xi and Putin and then 4 years of Biden / Harris. So I’m sure you guys won’t say trump was more effective but events that took place kind of tell the story.

They have a demographic problem that is made worse by the war. China is trickier, supporting domestic production of strategic goods is the best option we have. Don’t know if they have or not. I think they want to end the war but didn’t know how and now they see trump as a way to do that so I’m sure they are happy to possibly have a way out and save face.

This process was started under Biden. He asked for companies to express interest or “bid”. Only 1 did. Trump and Rubio both say they have no interest in pursuing it. Not all info was provided in all the links and hysteria.
 
Yes. In the last four years, Russia has been shown to be a second rate power due to our support of Ukraine. China is imploding demographically and likely financially due to bank insolvency and real estate collapse. All we have to do is stand firm and not step on our own damn dicks and they will fall helplessly behind. It doesn't take a genius to win given our overwhelming strength, but a complete jackass who fosters strife internally, economically and with our allies might just be able to fuck it up.

The cabinet she would have assembled would be light years better than the morons Trump has assembled in his cabinet. That alone would have given her a huge advantage with dealing with Putin and Jinping. Instead we get Trump, Vance and Hegseth throwing Ukraine under the bus, and cozying up to AfD and Putin.

I think the cabinet would have been much the same and her policies would have just been pretty much that of the last 4 years. She struggled very much in the election to articulate much of any position different than Biden’s, especially in foreign policy. Probably should wait until an agreement before saying he threw Ukraine under the bus.

I think there is more to being a world leader for the next hundred years than just doing nothing and maintaining the status quo.
