It is so easy to get inside his head. Kamala's campaign makes fun of his smaller crowd sizes and people walking out on him, and he immediately becomes obsessed with that and to this day is still arguing that her crowds are smaller or that people never leave his rallies until they're over. People ridicule his rambling, disjointed, way-off-tangent speeches at his rallies, so he keeps claiming that it's a deliberate tactic and a sign of his brilliance. And now people are ridiculing his clear lack of energy and the fact that he's nearly dozed off at some press conferences and campaign events, so of course he's got to turn it around and claim that it's really Kamala who is low-energy and snoozing. It's all projection, all the time, but it's no wonder that foreign dictators like Putin and Orban regard him as an easy mark.

That's almost completely incorrect.

The history of Messianic Judaism reaches back to efforts to proselytize to Jews in a "jewish" way in the 1800s leading to the rise of Messianic Judaism as a somewhat separate entity in the 1920s-1940s.

Jews For Jesus began in the 1970s as a breakaway movement from a more established Messianic Jewish group by an ethnic Jewish man who was also Baptist minister. However, he was a Conservative Baptist Association minister; the Conservative Baptist Association was a conservative breakaway group from the Northern Baptist Convention in the 1940s. The Northern Baptist Convention, which is now known as American Baptist Churches USA, is completely distinct from the SBC and has been since 1845 when the SBC split with the overarching national Baptist convention over the issue of slavery.
OK. Apparently my history is wrong. I stand by my statement that today's evangelicals, with their focus on the OT, basically are Jews for Jesus.

Also, my story is more fun.

It's the adult equivalent of the little kid on the playground yelling "I know you are but what am I?". And he has a legitimate shot at being elected President (again) in a couple weeks.

I will say that your story is more fun...kinda like a "based on real events" movie version.

I wouldn't say that evangelicals are Jews for Jesus, though. One, that's an insulting comparison for actual Jews. Two, that gives your average evangelical way too much credit for knowing the Bible.

I know I am repeating the Kelly stuff if you read the excerpts or article but wow. 😮
