So, if this stuff was disqualifying when minisoldr posted it, why is it not disqualifying when multiple generals say Trump is literally a fascist who admires Hitler and his generals?

“Well, looking at the definition of fascism: It’s a far-right authoritarian, ultranationalist political ideology and movement characterized by a dictatorial leader, centralized autocracy, militarism, forcible suppression of opposition, belief in a natural social hierarchy,” he said.

Mr. Kelly said that definition accurately described Mr. Trump.

“So certainly, in my experience, those are the kinds of things that he thinks would work better in terms of running America,” Mr. Kelly said.

He added: “Certainly the former president is in the far-right area, he’s certainly an authoritarian, admires people who are dictators — he has said that. So he certainly falls into the general definition of fascist, for sure.”

… Kelly said Trump chafed at limitations on his power.

“He certainly prefers the dictator approach to government,” Mr. Kelly said.

Mr. Trump “never accepted the fact that he wasn’t the most powerful man in the world — and by power, I mean an ability to do anything he wanted, anytime he wanted,” Mr. Kelly said. …”

And yet, at a minimum, approximately 47% of the voting age population in the United States believes these stories are either (a) fabricated or (b) true and they completely agree with what St. Donald of Mar-a-Lago says.
 
I don’t know why I let idiots run my blood pressure up.

There was a post tonight on my Mom board wondering why the interstate exits were closed off in Greensboro. Of course it devolved into what you might expect. There was some light teasing about how Trump is only in the special event center while Kamala nearly packed the coliseum. Some woman – who works there so she knows what she’s talking about – said that they had to hire “fillers” to come into the coliseum and they had to make people move down closer to make the place look full Keep in mind, she works there so she knows what she’s talking about.

I couldn’t help myself, so I asked how they determined who was a filler and who was an actual supporter. Then she changed her story and just focused on how they were trying to fill in behind her to make it look good on camera and they were very few camera angles to see the whole place. You can’t believe what the media shows you.

OF COURSE her campaign wanted to make sure the seats behind her were full. Every campaign does that. I was at that rally — it was packed. Was every single solitary seat taken? No but it was easily 17,000 or 18,000 people, though. The special events center seats in the neighborhood of 5,000 people. What is the comparison?!

Anyway, I was trying to formulate my response and commenting got turned off. 😂

It is so easy to get inside his head. Kamala's campaign makes fun of his smaller crowd sizes and people walking out on him, and he immediately becomes obsessed with that and to this day is still arguing that her crowds are smaller or that people never leave his rallies until they're over. People ridicule his rambling, disjointed, way-off-tangent speeches at his rallies, so he keeps claiming that it's a deliberate tactic and a sign of his brilliance. And now people are ridiculing his clear lack of energy and the fact that he's nearly dozed off at some press conferences and campaign events, so of course he's got to turn it around and claim that it's really Kamala who is low-energy and snoozing. It's all projection, all the time, but it's no wonder that foreign dictators like Putin and Orban regard him as an easy mark.

OK. Apparently my history is wrong. I stand by my statement that today's evangelicals, with their focus on the OT, basically are Jews for Jesus.

It's the adult equivalent of the little kid on the playground yelling "I know you are but what am I?". And he has a legitimate shot at being elected President (again) in a couple weeks.
