Yep; just astounding. And it was tragically comic to see an NBC reporter interview a Hispanic family in Arizona who voted for Trump declare, "yes, we have undocumented family here, but they haven't committed any crimes." Ummmmm, they are here illegally. And being here illegally just moved up to #1 on the American crimefighting priorities list.November 8, 2024
Social media has been flooded today with stories of Trump voters who are shocked to learn that tariffs will raise consumer prices as reporters are covering that information.heathercoxrichardson.substack.com
From the above link.
Marcotte recalled that Catherine Rampell and Youyou Zhou of the Washington Post showed before the election that voters overwhelmingly preferred Harris’s policies to Trump’s if they didn’t know which candidate proposed them. An Ipsos/Reuters poll from October showed that voters who were misinformed about immigration, crime, and the economy tended to vote Republican, while those who knew the facts preferred Democrats. Many Americans turn for information to social media or to friends and family who traffic in conspiracy theories. As Angelo Carusone of Media Matters put it: “We have a country that is pickled in right-wing misinformation and rage.”

What a perfect ExampleRemember when people hated Obamacare but loved the Affordable Care Act ?
good times...
Man, I wish Harris had ran on some of these!
She did though.Man, I wish Harris had ran on some of these!
Was thinking that on my drive this morning to grab some breakfast. “I hate Obamacare but I’m loving the Affordable Care Act”.Remember when people hated Obamacare but loved the Affordable Care Act ?

Yep, so these will go over well.Yep; just astounding. So why did she never talk about these things in interviews or rallies?
She did. The media spent the majority of their time covering DJT and social media was overwhelmed with disinformation and foreign interference. So why did she never talk about these things in interviews or rallies?
Wait for the stupefied long faces when the mass of maga on Medicaid and SSDI finds their benefits evicerated. “To hell with those bullshit Medicaid handouts to all those useless eaters! If they were smart they’d get on KCHIP/Georgia Families/Healthy Connections/TennCare/Soonercare/etc.”Was thinking that on my drive this morning to grab some breakfast. “I hate Obamacare but I’m loving the Affordable Care Act”.
Well, FAFO
House Speaker Mike Johnson criticizes Obamacare and promises 'massive reform' if Trump wins

I’m not unaware of her policy, I probably watched more Kamala Harris speeches and interviews than 90% of people on this forum, so you can miss me with that. She did. The media spent the majority of their time covering DJT and social media was overwhelmed with disinformation and foreign interference.
Frankly, you being a progressive with a high degree of knowledge possibly being unaware of elements of her policy reflects how seemingly impossible it was to get the message out to the masses. I'm not certain anyone could've overcome the volume of disinformation in this particular political climate.
It's a serious problem.
I mean, there's plenty of interviews where she did just that. Her campaign rallies in particular covered all of these topics.I’m not unaware of her policy, I probably watched more Kamala Harris speeches and interviews than 90% of people on this forum, so you can miss me with that.
We all know exactly what she ran on. The things she said in every speech is what she was running on. She didn’t present the case for 90% of these policies. If we’re in a race of who will cut more taxes, Republicans will win.
Just because a policy is listed in an 82 page manual that no one read doesn’t mean the campaign embraced that policy and ran on it.
Sad to admit, but I would be delighted to see this come to pass and see MAGA voters realize they are suffering exclusively at their own hands.Wait for the stupefied long faces when the mass of maga on Medicaid and SSDI finds their benefits evicerated. “To hell with those bullshit Medicaid handouts to all those useless eaters! If they were smart they’d get on KCHIP/Georgia Families/Healthy Connections/TennCare/Soonercare/etc.”
It’ll be fun (that’s sardonic).
Yeah I gave Paine a "like" because I thought he was being sarcastic.I mean, there's plenty of interviews where she did just that. Her campaign rallies in particular covered all of these topics.
The framework of the policies you suggested earlier weren't part of her platform are listed in her economic plan. I simply shared the link to help.

Yep, so these will go over well.
