Oh its a great idea. What could possibly go wrong. Who new that thousands of years of fighting over sacred ground could be so easily solved by trump putting up golden condos on top of all the dead bodies burried in that soil. Imagine all the arab love we will enjoy by giving arab countries memberships to the trump golf and beach club. Criticize if you want to but that makes you a shallow thinker.
Yeah I won’t be going to visit if he makes it happen. I like my head on my shoulders.

Oh, I think there's a reasonable chance (25% or so) that we see American forces in Gaza by this summer.
So many folks state with such certainty what don will or won't do, only to be proven wrong time and time again.

I remember seeing an ESPN 30/30 on the USFL. Trump was owner of the New Jersey franchise. This was done way before he ever thought about running for president. It was also long after the league folded. The other former owners couldn’t stand Trump. The general consensus was that Trump was after an NFL franchise on the cheap. When it became evident that wasn’t going to happen he lost interest in the USFL. I think he sees Gaza as a similar situation. I think he feels he can get this land for next to nothing and have our government put up some of the money to build this Xanadu for him.

You would actually stand a decent chance of solving the conflict by putting a robust peace-keeping force in there with Arab some US, other countries hecj even some from China. Of course neither Netanyahu nor Trump want that since it would be the first step toward a Palestinian state in WB and Gaza and end the nearly 60 year old Israelu occupation

He also left after ruining the USFL by orchestrating a move to a fall schedule to compete head to head with the NFL. They had moderate success by playing in the spring, but Trump wanted revenge on the NFL after they refused to award him a franchise. So he managed to force a move to the fall, got crushed by the NFL and bankrupted the USFL.

Once again, everything Trump touches dies.

I had forgotten about that part. It just shows how the desire for revenge eats at him and consumes him. The USFL directly challenging the NFL was as suicidal as the Charge of the Light Brigade.
