TV Streaming series to talk about.

Haven’t seen 2 yet. But I’ll watch it eventually. Season 1 was fine, not great.

Loooove Daddario, unparalleled… but as for Sweeney, aside from her bombshell little body, she looks like literally any other constipated teen or college girl out there. Really not all that pretty, just young. At least not my type anyway.
I'm partial to brunettes so completely agree.

Having also slogged through season 1 of Silo, I watched 2.01 and then just jumped to watch the finale. I wish it could be better, but the same problems of some wooden acting (Robbins is even poor, and Common is just awful), dull filler material and odd changes from the novels made me skip the middle and just read about it. I like Ferguson a lot, she is clearly committed to this project, and I wish it could be better.

I have seen some episodes of White Lotus, and to me it's just daytime soap opera stuff on streaming, semi-adult TV. Not my thing; out a long time ago.

I like Slow Horses, but a lot of the writing is often just sitcom level comedy, a bit forced and not always great. I see Oldman as one of the best actors alive, so that keeps my interest. Way behind and may catch up later.
Man you just bagged on two shows that I like a lot. 🤣

I am now watching Years and Years. It is on HBO.

I don’t know how many would like it but I find the premises to be really interesting. It is a British show from 2019 and paints a dystopian near future.

The crazy thing is that in many ways it’s not as dystopian as real life (so far) except for one significant exception.

I am enjoying the third season of Yellowjackets so far … leaning more into black comedy so far this season in a way that probably will be off-putting to anyone not invested in the characters. Things keep getting weirder in the 90s timeline.

It's actually a MAX streamer. Hour 7 [2-3 p.m.] dropped today. Noah Wyle stars in it and a number of ER showrunners are involved. Just got renewed for a second season. We like series like this where there's one episode per week. We had missed the first 3 or 4 weeks but caught up over the course of the last several. Very good show.
So to further clarify my comment from last Thursday on The Pitt's episodes "dropping" on Thursdays. Since last Thursday was the first time we were caught up, we headed over to MAX after finishing dinner but did not find the newest episode. After some investigating, my wife found out each week's episode is not available until 9 eastern/8 central. So we waited until 8:01 and sure enough, there the new episode was. Just an FYI.

That show started strong but just got so increasingly weird that I quit after the first few season 2 ep. I wanted to like it but it just lost me. Kinda like white lotus. Usually I enjoy these types of shows

My wife and I are watching "The Pitt".

It's actually pretty good. It's not the normal hospital drama, where everyone's sleeping together, and they have 4 busloads of patients each night.

Not going to go through the whole thread - any of y'all watching school spirits? Just finished the 2nd season and it's pretty good
We just finished season 2 as well. It is good, but uneven. The ghost characters are well developed, but the living groups of teens deserved more character development. Their scenes in seasons one were particularly disjointed.
