TV Streaming series to talk about.

Adolescence, whooooweee that’s a rough one. Intense story, great acting, super high quality production, and a very important societal SOS. Every parent should be forced to watch this as well as The Social Dilemma (both on netflix).

Each episode (4 total) was shot in a choreographed one-hour long single take, no cutting or splicing. Any mistakes by cast or crew and they had to start all over. They shot several versions of each episode and took the best one of each. Maybe a gimmick, but a very cool one, and it totally added to the propulsive feel of the story.

Excellent stuff, better than any series or short series I’ve seen in a long while.

Been watching Lioness. This first season starts dragging about midway through.

I am really enjoying Slow Horses on Apple TV - only 4 episodes in. It has the hallmarks of some of the great old school spy thrillers and Gary Oldman is simply fantastic in his role.

I couldn't make it through the first episode.

I just finished The Agency and that is a good series
The last episode was good. Just seemed like the middle was very slow and took forever to get there, and then the ending was abrupt.

I think I’m the only person here who doesn’t love Slow Horses.

The gear and much of the tactical choreography is pretty good. The dialogue, and the development of the female characters is fairly mediocre. I didn't know all female Delta assets were Latinas lol.

Started season 2 last night. The way season 1 ended so abruptly I didn't realize the last episode was the last episode until the first one for season 2 started playing. And of course Taylor Sheridan had to put himself in it.

The Pitt is awesome. My favorite show at the moment
Watched the finale the other night live, after having to catch up 2 shows an evening. This is the most powerful single season show since Chernobyl. Not on quite that level in terms of a narrative focus and direction, but the intensity matches the latter masterpiece. The pace is also beyond comparison to anything else. Brilliant acting and sustained great writing.

You will never watch any kind of medical or hospital TV show again, and see those others as anything more than kids' cartoons.

I finished it last night and was equally impressed. As much love as Severance gets and deserves, The Pitt is on the same level in its genre.

And Season 2 is coming. But that is a lot to follow.

Great show. In a trailer and an interview Noah Wyle said that their goal was to be as accurate and factual as possible.

My daughter, who is a nurse, has loved it for that fact.

My wife and I started Dying for Sex yesterday. First two episodes are decent.

Makes one think about how they would handle knowing that they had a short period of time before dying.

A co-worker had terminal cancer, he rented a huge house on the ocean and told everyone he knew that there was an open door policy to visit.

He only lived 18 months after diagnoses.

But you never know how it's going to go. My old neighbor was given 9 months to live when diagnosed. I've lost touch, but the last time I spoke with him he was at 9 years of living with it.

Not sure this one has been mentioned before but my wife and I just watched the 3rd American season of Love on the Spectrum on Netflix. If you're not familiar, it follows an assortment of people on the autism spectrum who are trying to find love. There was a single Australian season before the three American ones. Obviously quite different from other shows and may not be everybody's cup of tea but we have found it to to be incredibly touching, funny, heartwarming and insightful.
