TV Streaming series to talk about.

The Mortician on Max is pretty good. It is actually more of a Documentary mini-series. Three episodes, about 3-4 hours total. A true story of a truly bizarre and sociopathic family. It proves once again that truth can indeed be stranger than fiction. I love true stories and documentaries, especially when they have the actual person commenting along with old actual court and news footage.

The Jinx is still the all time best of this genre. I was fortunate to not know about it until the folllow-up series came out several years later. I got to binge them back to back. Better than any fiction that could be written.

I'm finishing up Ripley (based on the first novel in the series) on Netflix. I liked the movie when it came out in the 90's but it's nice to have an extended treatment (8 episodes, one hour each). I think that's the only way they'd ever be able to possibly do Blood Meridian, but I'm not sure that can be filmed successfully in any case..

Man on the Inside looks good.
My wife and I watched this a month ago and liked it. Suprised me in how much I enjoyed the show. A tad slow at first, but once it gets going, was thoroughly enjoyable. Ted Danson shines. Be warned, if you are older (we´re 61 and 65), it will get somewhat dusty wherever you are watching it). I hope that they do another season, as they definitely left it open to do so.

The Dale Earnhardt documentary on Prime is very good.

Mr Robot is coming to Netflix this Thursday.

Usually something funny, even if it's darkly so. Bojack Horseman, Brockmire, Fleabag - it needs great writing.
one of the best shows from Canadian television in the last 25 yers was Slings & Arrows. I believe it is on Amazon Prime
