TV Streaming series to talk about.

No season 3.
Most NEtflix shows will never get a season 3. They structure their contracts so the actors and producers get decent size pay bumps if it makes to a third season. Basically hiring people on the cheap to feed the content mill, than kick them all to the curb.

So many less shows are being made now that people take these bad deals as a chance to make their dream projects but they rarely last.

My wife and I started Dying for Sex yesterday. First two episodes are decent.

Makes one think about how they would handle knowing that they had a short period of time before dying.

A co-worker had terminal cancer, he rented a huge house on the ocean and told everyone he knew that there was an open door policy to visit.

He only lived 18 months after diagnoses.

But you never know how it's going to go. My old neighbor was given 9 months to live when diagnosed. I've lost touch, but the last time I spoke with him he was at 9 years of living with it.
Michelle Williams will win an Emmy for her performance. Jenny Slate may win one as well.

TV was full of so much garbage, even with 300 channels, until all these excellent series started.

A quick question about the only downside. How many platforms do most of you subscribe to for these series?

I have Hulu and Max and Prime TV (since Ihave Prime and Alexa). I only got Max because I have been wanting to see Curb Your Enthusiasm for years. But I miss the new seasons or however many there are of Peaky Blinders, back when I had Netflix, pre Smart TV. I can't imagine many people are paying for all 4 or 5 of the top subscription networks.

I pay for the combo of Hulu, Disney+ and ESPN+ (but I often forget I have that).
I have Max, included with my internet provider.
I have AppleTV+ free from my phone provider.
I have netflix, discounted with my phone provider.
I have Prime since it's part of Amazon prime.
I pay for YTTV, but I normally suspend during the summer.

I have everything you’ve got except YTTV. I have Paramount+ instead.

Thanks for responding. That's quite a bit, but it makes more sense in your case.

Also, after reading yours, I added Prime and have for same reason. Is there anything decent on there? I've never found any use for it other than a few NFL games. And if I a looking for a specific movie, I will check Prime if not on Hulu/Max.

I had paramount + with my IC subscription, but let that go.

I'm thinking about letting go of Amazon. I hate Bozo and I'm sure the prices are going to be heading up anyway.

Typically we google movies to see where they are streaming.

That's about the only time I watch anything on prime.

I tried to watch NFL on Prime but YTTV controls are just better.

👏
More people need to think like this, talk about it, and act on it. Even if it means a so-called “inconvenience” or costs us a few bucks to find alternatives. These billionaires are bending the country over and most people are smiling paying for the privilege.
