TV Streaming series to talk about.

Recently started watching season 1 of The Diplomat on Netflix. It has been quite entertaining so far.
Me too. I like the writing. They took a jab step into the whole "the ambassador as CIA operations asset" that I didn't like (that's an itch I can get scratched anywhere), but I was pleased that they didn't linger on that. I much prefer the geopolitical intrigue / nest of vipers /diplomatic back channel stuff because that's an itch that I can't get scratched almost anywhere else.

Lioness on Paramount+ is really good. As is the the first season of Mayor of Kingstown. I couldn't finish House of the Dragon.

Isn't there a new season of Shrinking?

Guess it's time to pay for AppleTV+ again.

I lost Paramount this week as my Inside Carolina Subscription expired.
This week's episode was the best yet.I laughed out loud a ton.

And Cheater Bitch needs to be a real song

Runaway (Fugueuse) - French Canadian show on Netflix - is pretty well done but a nightmare story for a parent of a soon to be teenage girl.

Binging The Madness.

One episode remaining. It's decent. Could have been shorter.

Whenever they get around to it, I'm looking forward to Season 2 of the Riann Johnson/Natasha Lyonne series Poker Face. Thought the first season and premise was great and original.

Beatles 64 on Disney Plus is really great. It's a Scorsese documentary singularly focused on the Beatles' first trip to America for the Ed Sullivan Show. New York and New Yorkers in 1964 are almost as much of a star in this documentary as the Beatles. It's really great. It's not better than Get Back, but much easier to digest and a lot of fun.

I highly recommend A Man on the Inside on Netflix starring Ted Danson. Created by the same guy that created The Good Place. Season 1 has only 8 episodes so it's an easy weekend binge.

Anyone seen Barry? I've received positive reviews about it from my family and friends, and wanted to get a barometric reading on it with the community here.
