There are plenty of Heelyeah's out there who will vote for Cooper for state office but not national office. How many Democrats have won the senate from NC in the past 40 years?
Terry Sanford in 1986.

John Edwards in 1998.

Kaye Hagen in 2008.

It’s a bleak list.

Fuck Murkowski...all the way up with a red hot poker (One on One reference).
She was willing to screw the rest of the country, and she ended up getting screwed. Karma, bitch.
Agreed. She'll still likely come up with another excuse to vote for the bill in its final form. And even if she doesn't, it will still pass, as the vote will be 50-50 and Vance will break the tie. This bill is going to pass, because in the end not enough Senate Republicans (they only need just 4 out of 53 to stop the bill) will have the guts to stand up to Dear Leader and face his wrath as Tillis just did. If anything, the example of Tillis over the past couple of days will likely be enough to keep the rest in line, just as Trump intended when he attacked Tillis. In the Trumper GOP, outright bullying works.
