Big series at home this weekend with Louisville. They were pretty highly ranked in the preseason but have lost a handful of games and fallen out of the rankings, but I suspect they are still a pretty tough out. Would love to notch a series win.

I know it’s way too early to be worrying much about the hosting regionals conversation, but I love college baseball and love having that conversation, so I will! I think we need a minimum of six and more likely seven ACC series wins to be comfortably in the top 16 hosting conversation come May. We’ve still got some tough ones left against Louisville, Georgia Tech, Clemson, and State and even series against ND, BC, Pitt, and Duke are no slouch. Would really behoove us to get to 2-1 in ACC series after this weekend so we aren’t having to climb out of a hole the rest of the way.

louisville's going to be all the more tougher with Zion Rose back in the lineup. believe his first action of the season was this past weekend and he went 7/15 with 1 HR, 1 double, and 6 RBI against Notre Dame. similar team to UVA in that you have to out-hit them to beat them, imo.
