I figure most of the people yapping about this are 40+, 50+, 60+….men with a frumpy, grumpy wife or girlfriend and they wish they had an attractive, fit-looking, buxom 20-something girlfriend.
Interestingly, those seem to be the folks defending BB the most to me.

Let’s say 80-90-98% of the people yapping about this BS are 40+ old men who are applauding Belichick for having a young, buxom girlfriend combined with another group of 40+ old men who are jealous.

Me? I’m more than 40+.

I don’t care about her or their relationship. I actually think she’s kinda scary looking in a young Laura Loomer way. At my age, she’s “hot.” In my 20’s? She’s better than average; but, not hot.

Wait, wait….she was 2nd runner-up for Ms. Maine. I lived in Maine for about 15 years. That’s akin to being the tallest midget.

I kinda sorta care how the team does this Fall. My problem is I can’t name players. Given that, I kinda sorta don’t care.

Oh, I definitely do not care about their relationship. I dislike that once she became a distraction BB didn't tell her to stay out of the football facility and out of the public eye...same as I'd feel about any coach's spouse turning into a spectacle (of their own making or not). I loudly said the same about Dawn Bunting being drunk off her ass and cursing out everyone in sight on the 5th floor at Kenan during games. These people are too well paid not to keep their spouse, sugar baby, baby daddy, baby mama, or fuck buddy in line.

I think the worst thing she's done from him is given him a shorter rope. Win eight games or more this year and play Sun bowl or better, and he'll be fine. Recruiting will probably improve. Win four games and the calls get louder. Win six games the next year and I suspect he's gone.

In re Belichick: I know that this an incredibly unenlightened and regressive opinion, but I believe a lot of wealth and innovation in America have been produced by nerdy guys who were hoping if they were successful enough and made enough money, then they could draw the interest of women who are comparable to Belichick's girlfriend. Unfortunately for UNC, Belichick is not trying to make his mark, he has already made his mark.

"In this country, you gotta make the money first. Then when you get the money, you get the power. Then when you get the power, then you get the women."

As a North Carolina resident and father of a UNC grad, I want this to work out for y'all, in spite of yesterday's game 😡, so I hope this doesn't turn out like the experiment(s) in Columbia. The legend, not the team, was the story down there. I even remember hearing an announcer saying, "Spurrier scores!" after a touchdown. Sure, they had some good years and beat us several times, but he built absolutely nothing. Same, but to a lesser degree, with Lou Holtz. Dietzel was before my time, but probably the same.

Now obviously, y'all are in a whole different class than the Chickens, but one mustn't become complacent. The Tar Heels can't become the Belichicks.

Honestly, if Belichick has a stint at UNC like Spurrier did from 2010-2013 at Scar then they can rename the stadium after him for all I care.

this. they won 11 games like 4 straight years and beat clemson 5 straight, iirc? finished ranked in the top 5 a time or two?

kind of an absurd take from the biased clemson fan, frankly.

those were some damn good years and spurrier definitely legitimized that program to some degree.

if belichick has a stretch like that at UNC it will likely mean multiple ACC titles and CFP berths. build the statue, rename the stadium, etc.
