Apparently multiple NFL teams have BB on their radar. That's according to josina Anderson who is considered credible NFL insider. Someone in IC said she went to UNC. I tried to link story but having trouble. Others can if interested. I dint think he is going anywhere.

I have a hard time believing that any NFL team would have serious interest in Belichick after the way this season played out.

Guess anything is possible though. I don’t really see what the angle would be here otherwise. It’s not like he’s in position to want or need a new contract, so it seems even less likely that this is getting leaked by his agent as some sort of negotiating tactic.

Tend to agree, but let us not underestimate just how stupid some of the NFL owners are. Teams would have be desperate indeed to consider BB, and I think the Jets, Giants, Raiders, and Saints are to that level. Maybe the Dolphins once MM is gone and even the Brownies if ownership feels Stefanski mishandled the QB situation bad enough.
Back to the main issue at hand, trying to profit off all this madness. Line opened MooU favored by 7 and has gone to MooU -7.5. Looking at the team records is a bit misleading, the Woofies have played a MUCH harder schedule including GT, Miami, ND, Pitt, so that 6-5 record is a bit better than it looks. Against common opponents (Wake, Dook, UVa), Woofies are 2-1 and Heels are 0-3. The home night crowd is going to be rabid (literally and figuratively). I think DD is going to instruct his players to bait Heels into personal foul penalties based on what we saw last week. I have the feeling Smothers is going to set some kind of school or personal record for yards gained.
Digging down into the Heels, one thing I noticed that really stood out was Gio's rushing stats. Lopez has been sacked 17 times (thought it would be much higher). Lopez has rushed 78 times for 141 yards for a 1.8 average. THAT is really really low and is likely the result of the pocket breaking so Lopez scrambles to pick up what he can. So a lot of that can be explained by pass plays with pass protect failing so Lopez manage to avoid a sack but gains little to nothing. Seems Lopez is not that fast, was he not supposed to be some dual threat? Does not seem to be nearly the running threat a certain GM thought.
Still feels like a double digit win for the Woofies...convince me otherwise....

I hope this rumor is credible and entices BBBB to split the scene and free up a balance of 40 million ( ? ) to hire a young and successful Division II coach with millions left to lure and buy high quality experienced money hungry transfers.
Yes sir I agree. Spending a ton of money on a staff rarely works for any school not named Alabama or the other big boys in CFB. Just look at all the tens of millions the ACC teams have spent on numerous coaches the past few years. I would support UNC 100% trying something different like heelinhell proposes. Coaches don't win games players do.
