While we have not beaten Kansas in our last 4 tries, we have beaten them the last 2 times we played them in November (in 1981 and 2002).

Our punishment for taking Roy back from the Jayhawks.

Yep. You don't need a true center anymore, but any team does need a few quality big guys who can rebound and defend the basket. UNC's lack of size has been a concern since last spring, and it's definitely hurting them in this game. They're going to have to find some way to adjust or they're going to struggle against quality teams this season.

A few years ago Baylor won the national title with a team of mostly guards, but overall they have may have been more athletic than this UNC team, and maybe their guards were taller than ours (isn't RJ only like six feet, zero inches tall?)

I thought both teams were playing really well early. Much better than the kind of play you usually see in November. The fouls putting Washington and Withers on the bench turned it into a lopsided affair.
This team may need to give up a lot of interior buckets to stay out of foul trouble just so they can run a proper offensive set.
