Elliot is soo good. Competition noted but he controlled the game to an extent you don't see often from a 6'0 college guard. His defensive improvements are tremendous

Really like VAL. I've seen enough already. Catches everything AND finishes. Like JWit, enough size and physicality to handle all but the biggest bigs. Great pickup late for the staff

RJ giving me 2023 early season Armando vibes. Hopefully it doesn't carry into Maui
 
It was encouraging to see Tyson start knocking down some threes. Definitely need some outside shooting to open things up for our guards.

I can see what the big deal with Drake Powell is. Showed some great athleticism...was thinking who the last deluxe athlete we've had at that position. He's going to be awesome.
 
I was cautiously optimistic about this team in the preseason but certainly had a lot of concerns about the quality of play and depth in the post. That is still a slight concern, because we are definitely going to play some bigger and stronger teams that will probably cause us a lot of trouble. But overall this team has an even higher ceiling than I thought preseason. I figured we would be doing well with another Sweet 16 appearance, but I legitimately believe we can be a Final Four contender. Lubin and Washington look significantly better than I thought they would, and Cadeau has had an incredible freshman to sophomore leap.
 
I’d really like to see this team playing in at least the finals in Maui, beat Alabama at home, and win the two neutral site games in December in CLT and MSG. That would get us into the meat of ACC play in really strong shape to contend for a top NCAAT seed again.

Not too many teams bigger, stronger, and more skilled than KU in the post.

UNC’s quality 1-3 is unmatched in CBB.

Ultimate success will come down to avoiding cold shooting nights in the biggest games.
