More dialed in and aggressive on defense this year too.Elliot Cadeau has really taken a leap. Just has a much better feel for the tempo of the game and when to push the ball.
Did not watch-But what I can gather they had two guys that just went and got Defensive rebounds One guy-number 32 -is a rebounding beastHaven't watched the game yet, but woke up and checked the score. Looks like Carolina covered the 16pt spread and kept a 5-10 pt. lead throughout the first half, and kept a 7-20 pt. lead throughout the 2nd half... keeping a 10-18 pt cushion for the most part.
Other than rebounding, the stats look great. Got to the line a lot and hit 76%; Shot over 50% and held them to less than 40%; Only had 5 turnovers with 16 assists (good ratio); 8 steals which means the defense must have been active; 4 players in double figure scoring with Tyson just missing that plateau with 9pts.; 8 players with 15 or minutes played... looks like no more "iron 5" - which is good.
So before I watch... what was up with the rebounding? I know they had loads of height over us... was that just it? They were taller inside? We gave up 13 offensive boards - not good.
It was the offensive rebounds that were so frustrating. Hawaii got way too many second shot opportunities.Did not watch-But what I can gather they had two guys that just went and got Defensive rebounds One guy-number 32 -is a rebounding beast
