Yea, if I were an athlete I would stay off of all the fan forums.

I recall the things I read from "UNC Fans" when Andrew Wiggins choose Kansas. People actually stating that they wanted him to get hurt and end his career.
 
we've got a top 15ish team with a major flaw.....we simply do not have the horses at the 4/5.

our guys 1-3 are really damn good, we can beat a lot of teams with RJ/EC/trimble/powell/jackson but the post situation is going to hold us back from being a truly elite team.
 
Appreciate the Heels purposely shitting the bed last night so they get the earlier game today, allowing me to get a full night of sleep tonight.
 
I've skipped the last two because they were so late, might as well skip this one too, I can always watch it tomorrow and would be better for my blood pressure.

It's earlier, which I appreciate (9:30pm). But, oddly, the championship game is at 5:00pm, followed by our 3rd place game, and then the 7th place game at midnight. Weird setup for the games.

Not odd at all. They always do it that way to get the premier game at the best TV time. Of course, in this case, MSU v. UNC is probably a more desirable game than Auburn v. Memphis.
 
Neither or our losses are bad. In fact the Kansas loss might end up helping our NET and SOS. Like last year, if we can win one good non-con game ('Bama next week?) and have 5 or fewer losses in conference play, we'll probably be in the hunt for a number one seed again.

But Bama will bother us in many of the same ways Auburn did. SEC teams with all their athletic country boys are our achilles' heel. Athletic teams have always bothered us (it's why FSU is a tough out even when their team is made up of a bunch of 7 foot dudes from Africa who've only been playing for two years), and these SEC squads are athletic and skilled.

UNC bigs often make big jumps between seasons, but it looks like we're going to have to hope Washington makes his in-season. I never expected the guy to be a world beater. And he doesn't have to be with our backcourt. But he needs to be steady, a consistent 12/10 guy, and he's just not (yet).

Eh, we can’t just beat one of the good teams on our non-con schedule and reasonably to be in the hunt for a 1 seed. That would mean a slew of Ls before ACC play. We’d probably have to win the conference convincingly in that scenario.
 
Bad defense and no rebounds. This team just isn't going to win unless they can get turnovers and transition baskets, or hit a bunch of threes since they have no post threat on offense and give up so many offensive rebounds.
 
Michigan State is the third-worst 3-point shooting team in the country and they're shooting like it's NBA ShootOut. Woof.
 
Hubert needs to do something about the bad starts. The defense has been bad. We have seen how this team wins. They need turnovers and transition baskets or hit a bunch of threes since they give up too many offensive rebounds and have no post option on offense. But they aren't going to get transition baskets without playing good defense. And it feels like they are always playing 3 on 5 because some duo of Washington, Withers, Tyson and Lubin are always on the floor, and they just don’t contribute enough on offense or defense.
 
We have to change the starting lineup. We've fallen behind by double digits out of the gate in 5 of our first 7 games. That is almost unfathomable.

Cadeau, Davis, Trimble, Powell and Jackson are the only 5 I feel good playing, but they can't play the whole game, and that would be a very small lineup. Washington, Withers, Tyson and Lubin need to do something at least on defense and get rebounds so the guards can get out and run.
