I just want to say, regardless of whether we win or lose this game, Michigan State and Tom Izzo are among the biggest scams in all of college basketball for the reverence they get. One fucking championship two and a half decades ago and literally nothing else. Total scam of a program.

Well damn. Love to see Ian and Drake step up like they did. Maybe I’m a pessimist when it comes to UNC basketball lately, but I get the feeling that it’s going to be a mediocre season.

Well, another good comeback, but going to fall short. Need to quit starting slow and having to comeback, though. They have plenty of firepower on offense with Cadeau, Davis, Trimble, Powell and Jackson. But they have too many lapses on defense and give up too many offensive rebounds to the other team. I think that is where the lack of a good big is hurting them the most.

Our lack of quality bigs killed us there. I miss Armando Bacot. I also miss pre-Sweet 16 2024 RJ Davis. But a quality big to protect the rim, grab some rebounds, take pressure off the guards, and provide some inside offense would make a HUGE difference.

The people that bristle at the slightest criticism of the program will just continue to hand wave off these losses. “It’s only November, who cares”. Same line of thinking that happened during the 22-23 season. At some point you have to let go of the moral victories and actually start winning games.
