How do you know the players don’t have confidence in the coaches? My observations: 1. The defense is still horrible. GT got numerous good shots, luckily they didn't make a ton of them. 2. This team has no confidence in the coaches. They can see things going wrong and they don't feel like their coaches know how to fix it...if that is even possible. But, at the end of the day, you have to gain the trust and confidence of your players. Absolute must.
Watching UNC win is never a bad time to me.Glad I had other plans today, from the sound of it.![]()
It seems clear from their body language/emotion, or lack of. Rob hit on it too in the podcast. How do you know the players don’t have confidence in the coaches?
Great question. Also, as Rob points out, why not even go inside a few times? As for the freshman being a bright spot... why is Drake getting Leaky level usage?

I've supported Hubert all along, but hasn't a lack of ball movement been something that people have complained about Hubert's teams since his first season? I think I've read some posters saying that's been a weakness of his teams here since he became the head coach. The lack of off the ball movement is pretty remarkable. I can’t even think about the defense.
We have very few assists.

Lack of ball movement is one those complaints that fans go to when the offense struggles. It can be true as effective ball movement definitely helps in the halfcourt but it’s not always the issue.I've supported Hubert all along, but hasn't a lack of ball movement been something that people have complained about Hubert's teams since his first season? Basically, Rob said that the team doesn't have confidence in their coaches being able to tell them what they need to do in order to fix it/get better. It's on the after-game pod. What did Rob say?
Saying the players don’t trust the coaches is a pretty dramatic claim.
