Carolina Basketball has become a drag. You’ve become a drag.
Enjoy the wins. Nothing is guaranteed.
I’m just a witness.

You’re whining. It’s not a great look.Carolina Basketball has become a drag.

And you being the excitement police is a worse look. You’re whining. It’s not a great look.
I disagree. And you being the excitement police is a worse look.
I wish when Trimble came back Hubert would start Cadeau, RJ, Jackson, Trimble and either Lubin or Washington. Rotate in Powell and either Lubin or Washington, and that be it. Withers and Tyson just do more harm than good and should only be played if someone is in foul trouble. I also wish he would stop the switching on man or even just play a zone. Cadeau and RJ are too small to guard anyone, and Washington isn't big enough to guard a decent big.
I'm usually on your side 95% of the time in sports conversations, but not sure I'm on board here. The poster was simply expressing a thought. He wasn't going off on some rant or spamming negative threads or anything that might deserve that response on IC.You’re whining. It’s not a great look.
You’re not being positive, you’re being a tedious scold.I disagree.
Positivity > Negativity
You’re behaving as if you’ve been personally aggrieved. You haven’t.
You’re better than this.
Bad timing, imo.I'm usually on your side 95% of the time in sports conversations, but not sure I'm on board here. The poster was simply expressing a thought. He wasn't going off on some rant or spamming negative threads or anything that might deserve that response on IC.
And who cares if it's a great look or not? Great look to whom?
Tedious scold or not I’m being anti-negative.You’re not being positive, you’re being a tedious scold.
You’re obviously free to post what you want, as am I. However pushing back on constant negativity shouldn’t be considered any worse than wallowing in it.This thread would just be a total train wreck if it weren’t for the all-knowing Bigs serving as the moral compass to tell the rest of us simpletons how we’re allowed to discuss or criticize the team.
There’s a reason good teams don’t play zone.Withers was better than Lubin today
Zone defense doesn't work. It works even less when you're a tiny team
So true, in the big picture basketball isn't that important.Tell ya what. A lot of stuff sucks right now.
Winning does not.
Was he?Withers was better than Lubin today
I agree but the team needs to play defense and fight for rebounds (like the first half). Ian is emerging as a superstar who can carry this team as the season progresses. We just need to start stacking wins during this early (easier) ACC schedule.Nice thing about this season is that there are enough pieces to go on a run. They’d all need to line up the right way in February and March, but the pieces are there. It is a bit like 2023 team, when the pieces went the wrong direction. Hoping for more like a 2022 run down the stretch. Both outcomes seem well within the range of possible outcomes.
"Cadeau and RJ are too small to guard anyone..." Agree.I wish when Trimble came back Hubert would start Cadeau, RJ, Jackson, Trimble and either Lubin or Washington. Notre Dame got 12 offensive rebounds (vs. giving up 20 defensive rebounds).I agree but the team needs to play defense and fight for rebounds (like the first half).
