100% agree on the starting lineup. We’ll be bigger and better defensively if Ian continues to improve on that end"Cadeau and RJ are too small to guard anyone..." Agree.
I was thinking 4 guard 1 forward line up too - but I think we give up points and rebounds too much already. Scoring has not really been an issue. Our issues have been: turnovers by Cadeau (not many today though); poor defense; not much rebounding and - lately - no Trimble.
If: 1) Cadeau is going to continue with 40 turnovers every 12 games (like he did the first 12), and 2) RJ isn't hitting, but can give assists (like he did today) and give us better defense and rebounding at the point than Cadeau and 3) Trimble comes back healthy and playing like he was and 4) Jackson continues to be the scoring monster he's become... Then I say start RJ at point; Ian and Trimble at 2 & 3. I think that may cut down on turnovers and give us better defense and keep the assists and scoring where it's been. I also think Drake and JWash have settled it as starters at 4 & 5. We have to have SOME height and defense in the paint. And agree that Lubin should get the minutes that Withers and Tyson would get.
I'm not saying Cadeau doesn't get his 25 minutes pg - or that he may not finish games or be in there for offense in crunch time. But when we need stops and to protect the ball - sit him and play RJ/Ian/Seth.
EC is a good player, and should get a lot of minutes, but the backcourt with RJ is just too dang small.
