Times have changed(not just for UNC).
Comparing today to what was going on just 5 years ago isn’t really valid.

In life you should always be happy when something good happens you’re not guaranteed anything.

It’ll be interesting to see what kind of game shape he’ll be in. A big of his size who hasn’t played in a month will likely need a bit of time to acclimate to game action again.
 
I’m friends with some SDSU alums and what I’m hearing is that Gwath is athletic, long and thin. But he’s awkward and pretty up and down, and can disappear. Overall they’re a very good defensive team and they live and die by the three.

Feels like it’ll be a battle of styles, and if they can slow the game down and muck it up, it could be a rock fight. But Gwath can’t be any better than Maluach, so if the Heels can play like they did in that second half, then they can control things even if shots aren’t falling from deep. I know that their fans are up in arms about Carolina making it in, but mostly because they would rather be playing someone else.

I feel cautiously optimistic. Leaning more optimistic than cautious.

Supposedly not a great rebounding team, which is an odd profile for a team so good defensively. Have to rebound and get out in transition

Maluach came to mind too. Gwath is more mobile though, a bit more skilled from the perimeter. He is willing to shoot the 3 and put the ball on the floor. Game shape though is a big question mark

Duke 2x in general in the last week is great prep. SDST will seem small, though maybe a bit more physical, in comparison
 
Heels have the opportunity to shut up the haters that said they shouldn't have been in the tournament. Hope they get the job done.

God's plans are like trump's, there more a concept that no one understands or knows about than an actual plan.

Does anyone ever dwell on just how ephemeral our concerns are to a being 14 billion years old? Some of what's behind my cynicism concerning a personal relationship with God.
