Makes me wonder if it is a coaching issue. Or at least the coach not being able to get the right players now.
You thought that about Roy too.

UNC is going to have to pony up to sign better players if they want to compete.

I suspect this team will get on a nice roll at some point this season but it doesn’t look good right now.

Only thing Roy didn't do well was respect the 3 point shot. He had players helping too much and leaving shooters wide.open for 3. He never did change that. But I guess even Roy said he wasn't the man to coach the team anymore when he retired.

Yeah this ass kicking may be a good thing. Maybe the powers that be will see they may have to change things up. Lack of fortball success equals lack of basketball success.
That’s the new reality with some exceptions for programs who have the funds from other sources.

Remember how excited we were to get Tyson in the portal? And he’s probably got six figures to come here.
I can’t believe how bad he’s been. Although I should believe it because I feel like all these big-time shooters come here and just wither. The same thing kind of happened with Cormac last year, but at least he was really good on defense and definitely a team leader.

He was in his 70’s. So yeah.

Yeah, last season felt like a step in the right direction, which is why this is just so disappointing. Our portal gets were just really good.

Don’t know what we can do about our bigs. Washington has the most tools with his height and what I have at least seen in the past with his offensive skillset. Though he’s struggled offensively thus far this season. And he just plays soft in general.

Withers is a head scratcher. You never know what he is going to do, and it doesn’t seem like he does either.

Lubin plays hard but is undersized and his offensive skillset seems somewhat limited. But if he were 7’, I think he’d be a beast. Alas, he’s not.

Claude plays hard but he’s very limited in what he can do and seems pretty slow.

Haven’t seen enough of Brown to make any judgment other than thinking he has a ways to go.
