If it helps, my parents, both 68 years old living in a rural area of NC are registered Republicans despite both despising Trump. (I think my mom hasn’t switched because she likes being in the “Republican who voted for Democrats” category, as she has become quite liberal over the past few years.) They’ve early voted for Harris.

I’m registered independent for that matter, and I voted Harris on the first day of voting.

Yep and that is the kind of thing that can’t be determined from raw turnout data. Maybe a significant number of early voting Republicans are Haley Republicans or recovering Republicans like your Mom??? I know the campaigns are trying to gather info via internal exit polling of key precincts and extrapolating from there.

Excellent point and question. I'm from Georgia and scrolled thru the county early voting data that was posted for Georgia. Little disappointed in turnout for some Dem areas. But Sunday voting could make that up. I think weekend voting is up to each county here, but I could be wrong.
