This graph is entirely useless in predicting our election, but serves as a helpful guide of which European countries you should and shouldn’t consider moving to.
My main thoughts are that the data means nothing. And that I wouldn't really want to live in hardly any of the countries polled. That’s a pretty good ordering of countries by functionality of government and happiness of the citizenry as well. Thoughts on that, HeelYeah?
Wait, so you knowingly voted for Matt Doherty over Roy Williams???My main thoughts are that the data means nothing. And that I wouldn't really want to live in hardly any of the countries polled.
How do you think it would poll if we asked the other teams in the ACC who they'd rather have as UNC basketball's head coach: Roy Williams or Matt Doherty?
Unfortunately, you’ve chosen Matt Doherty; you and too damn close to 50% of Americans. My main thoughts are that the data means nothing. And that I wouldn't really want to live in hardly any of the countries polled.
How do you think it would poll if we asked the other teams in the ACC who they'd rather have as UNC basketball's head coach: Roy Williams or Matt Doherty?
I think you missed the point. Our ACC rivals would prefer for us to have Doherty just like many European countries would prefer the US to have Harris.Wait, so you knowingly voted for Matt Doherty over Roy Williams???
Well, Americans don't care for much of anythingMy main thoughts are that the data means nothing. And that I wouldn't really want to live in hardly any of the countries polled.

What? Denmark isn't saying they'd vote for Harris because they are jealous of the US or want us to fail.I think you missed the point. Our ACC rivals would prefer for us to have Doherty just like many European countries would prefer the US to have Harris.
When your competition (some of whom don't like you. are jealous of your previous success, or are at best indifferent to your success) gets to choose who they'd like to be in charge of your enterprise, they won't always choose the person that is actually in your best interest to have in that seat.
Ooooooooh, I see. You think Danes are choosing Kamala because . . . uh . . . they think Trump would actually do a better job as president but . . . um . . . the Danes don't really want America to succeed because . . . errr . . . we're their geopolitical competitors???I think you missed the point. Our ACC rivals would prefer for us to have Doherty just like many European countries would prefer the US to have Harris.

Denmark is a very liberal country in general. They are the extreme outlier here just as Russia is on the other end of the spectrum. What? Denmark isn't saying they'd vote for Harris because they are jealous of the US or want us to fail.
To be fair, HY's pretzel logic is accurate for the bottom handful of countries in the graphic.Ooooooooh, I see. You think Danes are choosing Kamala because . . . uh . . . they think Trump would actually do a better job as president but . . . um . . . the Danes don't really want America to succeed because . . . errr . . . we're their geopolitical competitors???
You want to rethink that one maybe?
I’d live in Hungary before most of those, Orbanism notwithstanding. No American can say with a straight face that they think any country in the bottom 8 would be better to live in than any country in the top 8.
Yes, but that's a biased sample. By definition those are people who have co-workers across the ocean. Are any of your co-workers proprietors of small B & Bs in the Loire Valley?I'd guess MOST Europeans know the difference in the two candidates waaaaay more than your average American. American's are extremely poorly informed.
I have co-workers in Norway, Netherlands, Australia, Italy, and the UK and they all more informed on US political issues than the American workers.
And yet --Denmark is a very liberal country in general. They are the extreme outlier here just as Russia is on the other end of the spectrum.
But there is absolutely US jealousy that is deeply-rooted in basically all major countries throughout the world that plays a role here.
In other words, I'll let the suburban soccer moms who typically swing our elections decide what is best for America's future ahead of some random dude in Sweden who doesn't even truly understand the differences between the two candidates.
I really hope you don't seriously believe this quoted sentence is true.I'd guess MOST Europeans know the difference in the two candidates waaaaay more than your average American.
I don't know why that's so dubious. I mean, you know all about what Trump says he'll do. You just don't think he'll actually do it. Doesn't that make you functionally more ignorant than a European who takes him at his word?I really hope you don't seriously believe this quoted sentence is true.
