We'll just have to agree to disagree on that.I’d live in Hungary before most of those, Orbanism notwithstanding.

I am far more in tune with American politics than almost everyone in America, much less in Europe. I’m not saying that to toot my own horn because that goes for all the regular posters here. We talk about this shit even when it isn’t election season.I don't know why that's so dubious. I mean, you know all about what Trump says he'll do. You just don't think he'll actually do it. Doesn't that make you functionally more ignorant than a European who takes him at his word?
He’s right. Particularly when you factor in low-information MAGA chuds like yourself.I really hope you don't seriously believe this quoted sentence is true.
I don't think you're ill-informed. I think you know exactly who Donald Trump really is. You just don't think he'll do all the things he's been promising to do. And that seems to me to be a form of ignorance that's much worse than lack of information.I am far more in tune with American politics than almost everyone in America, much less in Europe. You just don’t like my politics, and that’s fine. But don’t go full liberal on me and start thinking that means I’m ill-informed and don’t know the differences between the candidates, lol
Just a reminder. The sentence I thought was so ridiculous was “I'd guess MOST Europeans know the difference in the two candidates waaaaay more than your average American”
You’re in the top 5% of well informed Americans. I spoke with a family member yesterday who I consider smart, college grad and he had no idea what dobbs was or that Roe was overturned. I was taken aback.I am far more in tune with American politics than almost everyone in America, much less in Europe. LOL you think that 96% of Danes said they would choose Harris over Trump because for some reason, in this silly poll that has no meaning whatsoever, they all concluded that Trump would actually be a better president than Harris but that they needed to vote against Trump because they secretly want the US to fall apart so Denmark can say it's a better country?I think you missed the point. Our ACC rivals would prefer for us to have Doherty just like many European countries would prefer the US to have Harris.
When your competition (some of whom don't like you. are jealous of your previous success, or are at best indifferent to your success) gets to choose who they'd like to be in charge of your enterprise, they won't always choose the person that is actually in your best interest to have in that seat.
Those countries where Harris is strongly preferred are not our rivals. They are our allies. And they strongly prefer Harris over Trump because he has said and done a number of things that lead them to believe that he would would compromise their national security. It has very little, if anything, to do with conservatism or liberalism. They don’t care so much about our domestic issues. They care about us being dependable allies. And you can see that those countries at the top are very close to Russia, geographically speaking. They have heard/read Trump’s comments and see what Putin has done. There’s a reason those countries are at the top of the list of those that prefer Harris.I think you missed the point. Our ACC rivals would prefer for us to have Doherty just like many European countries would prefer the US to have Harris.

For context on what the average American knows, Google searches for things like "Did Joe Biden drop out?" and "Who is Donald Trump" are spiking today.I really hope you don't seriously believe this quoted sentence is true.
A lot of HY2012's assumptions about politics and life are basically predicated on the notion that he is representative of the average/median voter and citizen. You’re in the top 5% of well informed Americans. I spoke with a family member yesterday who I consider smart, college grad and he had no idea what dobbs was or that Roe was overturned. I was taken aback.
My anecdotal evidence is my European friends/coworkers all knew about this issue and which candidate stands for which.
Considering the campaign ads and the gullibility of the average Republican voters, I'd bet that she has plenty of company.
Which of the other teams are UNC’s allies in this analogy? How do you think it would poll if we asked the other teams in the ACC who they'd rather have as UNC basketball's head coach: Roy Williams or Matt Doherty?
HY suffers from severe main character syndromeA lot of HY2012's assumptions about politics and life are basically predicated on the notion that he is representative of the average/median voter and citizen.
I might have to put this in my ZZLPolitics.com bio! You’re in the top 5% of well informed Americans.
haha I mean any of us posting here probably areI might have to put this in my ZZLPolitics.com bio!
Don’t leave out China, Hungary, United Arab Emirates, warmonger Bibi Netanyahu, Argentina, India’s xenophobic and Islamophobic leader, and Turkey’s Erdogan.I will never get over the fact that Republicans decided that they want the guy who Russia, Iran, North Korea, and Saudi Arabia want. What an unbelievable and humiliating collapse of conservatism.
I expect HY2012 wants Trump to do what he says he’ll do.I don't think you're ill-informed. I think you know exactly who Donald Trump really is. You just don't think he'll do all the things he's been promising to do. And that seems to me to be a form of ignorance that's much worse than lack of information.
Wow.Denmark is a very liberal country in general. They are the extreme outlier here just as Russia is on the other end of the spectrum.
But there is absolutely US jealousy that is deeply-rooted in basically all major countries throughout the world that plays a role here.
In other words, I'll let the suburban soccer moms who typically swing our elections decide what is best for America's future ahead of some random dude in Sweden who doesn't even truly understand the differences between the two candidates.
Agreed. We now know that HY does not know any Europeans or really anyone from other "major countries." By and large, they do not have US jealousy.
