This is a long Twitter thread, almost 30 tweets, but it is an absolute must read. Seriously, if you read nothing else today on Twitter, read this thread. It’s great.
"I think a troll should be President of world's most powerful country" without an ounce of regret huh?Trump being a troll is absolutely a feature to his base, not a bug. I agree with that. And in the final days of the election, it's really about rallying the base and not trying to change people's minds - so yes, he comes out in a garbage truck on the way to his rally in Wisconsin and says "How do you like my garbage truck? This truck is honor of Kamala and Joe Biden"
Of course! Happy to do so. Don’t judge me for being technologically inept- but what’s the best way to do that besides posting them tweet by tweet? (I’m more than happy to do that, just wanted to know if there’s a more efficient way!)
Haha yeah yall are smarter than me. I need to kick the habit soon.Fortunately I think the majority of use are not on the twitter
The article: Want freedom? Harris is asking us to fight the 'petty tyrant'
Not meFortunately I think the majority of use are not on the twitter
I’d be surprised if there isn’t already a thread unroll in the comments.O

It’s amazing that People who are educated would vote for someone who"I think a troll should be President of world's most powerful country" without an ounce of regret huh?
You say this, but you voted for him. How? Why? I just can't imagine debasing myself by voting for someone I know to be a troll.Trump being a troll is absolutely a feature to his base, not a bug. you are the real MVP NYC.
Almost as if Putin really is a master puppeteer. It’s amazing that People who are educated would vote for someone who
1.) led a coup and failed
2.) wants to turn the US into an oligarchy
3.) wants to put RFK in “charge of health” including HHS and fda
all because he trolls liberals
This is near exactly why I’ve stated numerous times that callayeahs are just too cowardly to openly support the shit they actually like about being maga. They oft claim inflation!!! Prices!!!! Economy!!!! Then blankly stare at hard data showing historically high 401ks, an economy that’s blistering the rest of the planet, and consumer confidences normalizing, after the world’s greatest economic recovery folllowing the worst pandemic since 1918.HY12 - though I am appreciative of his participation here in order to give the community some current Republican views on things without his default conversation mode being a belligerent asshole - is emblematic of why we keep banging our heads against the wall wondering why Trump voters don't seem to "get it."
They don't care. They know but they just don't care. The greater the double-standard, the more delicious for them it is. The more we're outraged or offended, the more succulent the issue/offense seems to be for them.
Even though we have the truth and objective reality on our side - it's like arguing with a psycho chick (or dude) or someone with Borderline Personality Disorder - if you don't have the same standards, fundamentals, or principles, you can't agree on anything and you can't resolve anything. Hell, it's difficult to find the elusive middle ground. Then throw in the cult-of-personality and the evangelical angles, and you've got something truly pernicious.
And this is extremely difficult to combat and/or defeat/deprogram.
Yep. From the uber-liberal WSJ --This is near exactly why I’ve stated numerous times that callayeahs are just too cowardly to openly support the shit they actually like about being maga. It’s not the economy for them. It never has been.
Again, callayeahs lie. Maybe the first lie is to themselves, thus the shit they’ve spewed on this board (and I assume still do) isn’t technically lying, but it’s WHOLLY dishonest at a minimum.Yep. From the uber-liberal WSJ --
Whoever wins the White House next week will take office with no shortage of challenges, but at least one huge asset: an economy that is putting its peers to shame.
With another solid performance in the third quarter, the U.S. has grown 2.7% over the past year. It is outrunning every other major developed economy, not to mention its own historical growth rate.
Because I think he was a good President. He isn't my ideal candidate, but I prefer him over the alternative. You say this, but you voted for him. How? Why? I just can't imagine debasing myself by voting for someone I know to be a troll.
