According to Google, the dude is worth north of $250 billion. Just putting it all in guaranteed government bonds would yield him billions of dollars in income annually. How much more money or power can a person have or need than that??
Ask him and Thiel if you want. I don't claim to understand why they're wired that way.

Already showing over $694 million bet. I suspect the total wagered on the US presidential election will be over $2 billion worldwide. The fact that it is not legal in the US is essentially irrelevant as offshore books are plentiful and non-US bettors make up a significant share of the market.

In general, a single well-publicized event with months of futures betting will collect more revenue than a single sporting event, which just has a few days to collect revenue before the next game (and is competing with many other NFL games for dollars).
Update:

It is now legal to bet on presidential elections in the US

How come so many of the worst in our society are somehow connected to dook?

Board dookies, can y'all start doing something about this? Why are y'all turning out such terrible people over there?
It's really weird. Until lately, most of the insane ones were really connected to the law school only. And even there I don't know. Now we have Andrew, Miller and judge Cannon.

There are some very well known Democrat grads of course. Way more actually because the undergrad population is very very liberal

Why do I think it happens? Big money that can get their brar maga kid into a big name school ... And it's the South so that attracts them unlike the ivies.

You know, 32 more days of this shit is a lot …
Can't believe I'm saying this, but when St. Donald of Mar-a-Lago claims that he hasn't read Project 2025, I actually believe him. But I do think that someone simplified the entire Proect 2025 report down to five or less illustrations with no more than five words on each page and that was shown to him.

Funny, I was thinking the same. No way he has the attention span to actually read what's in there. But he's involved and he knows what it's about and he's married himself and the pubs to the Heritage Foundation. For better or worse.

Funny, I've watched her do many interviews, but I havent watched Trump do any interviews. Must mean he's hiding.
You can always tell what Trump is up to by what he accuses his opponents of. He's not very creative. He takes the ideas he likes that are proposed to him, then accuses his opponent of doing them.
