I probably should have said "If he is in a concerning state of mental decline". All of us, I believe after about 30 or 40, are in a state of mental decline.
not just his obvious mental decline but his physical decline, as well...

You so badly try to make a false equivalence between Biden and Trump’s mental state lol. It’s sweet.
Good point. Biden is experiencing age-related cognitive decline. Trump is experiencing age-related cognitive decline exacerbated by extreme cases of Narcissistic Personality Disorder and Empathy Deficit Disorder, which is causing him to openly and unapologetically embrace the leadership tactics and rhetoric of anti-democratic strongmen like Putin and Orban. It's really not fair to compare the two.

Well, no shit he's tired. He's old, fat and traveling continually.

Even if this came up around the same time as Biden's mental decline was made very public, there isn't a chance in hell ANYONE is convincing Trump to drop out. Zero.

So the choice comes down to an old, fat, exhausted, demented Trump vs a young ,trim, vibrant, sharp as a tack Harris...

Gee, which candidate would you want in control of the nuclear codes ?
Believe me, I'm tired of DC being retirement home, but until something obvious happens (as it did with McConnell and Biden) people don't pay much attention.

You aren't paying much attention if have yet to see the obvious with trump. He's had his share of signs pointing to the changing room at the retirement home.

Some friends of mine and I were discussing the possibility that Harris winning might even be best for Republicans going forward for a couple reasons. #1, if Trump wins, there is no way a Republican wins again in 2028 and #2, looking at the ages of the SCOTUS justices that are on the conservative side, like Alito and Thomas, they might could make it through a Harris 4 years, but likely not a 4 year Trump term plus one or two Democratic terms subsequently. Now, I suppose if Trump wins, they could retire, but I don't think they will. And additionally, Harris winning also maybe gets the Republicans to at least think about returning to some sense of normalcy. I don't know, but Harris winning, could be best in the short term and long term for the Republican party. Also, a decent Republican party plus a decent Democratic party, probably makes everyone better off when there are better choices for candidates more often all over the ballot. Time will tell I guess.
You’ll have to pry Thomas’s cold dead hands off the bench, I’m wagering. I’d also wager his remaining life expectancy is relatively low.

Bautista has a message for all you beta boys like zen - voting for trump. Fast forward to the 15'22" mark. Hahaha!

“A lot of men seem to think that Donald Trump is some kind of tough guy. He’s not.”
“I mean, look at him, he wears more makeup than Dolly Parton,”
“He whines like a baby. The guy is afraid of birds. Donald Trump had his daddy pay a doctor to say his widdle feet hurt so he could dodge the draft.”

Yeah, I can't see him retiring either. He's 76 I think, so who knows how long he'll live. Read a biography on him several years ago, interesting and complicated guy with some questionable stuff in there.

How many of you all have a Harris (or Trump) sign in your front yard?

So my situation. I am separated (have been for years) but split time between an apartment and our house. We do this so that our special needs child can stay permanently at the house.

I told my ex that I didn't want signs in our yard because I don't want my house shot up nor do I want to be put on some type of list. I know that sounds paranoid for a low probability event but the cost of not having a sign is really low too. She initially agreed but then put up a Harris sign.

It isn't a big deal (knock on wood) but it does concern me a bit. Our neighborhood is probably 80% Harris voters so I am not concerned about people from within the neighborhood but I just don't think now is the time to prominently display your political affiliations.

Just my thought. I am not making a deal of it. But I will take the sign down immediately after the election, win or lose.
