Wow. KU forces another turnover (this time Knueppel got caught in the air a few feet from the basket — should have put up the shot) and goes to the line up 1 with three seconds to go.

Blue Devil time out with 3.3 seconds left, down 3.

Coach K looked a lot healthier to me than I’ve seen him recently. I thought he looked frail at times last year.

DU advances the ball to half court and takes another TO (their last).

Haha. Dook is good this year, but hardly invincible. KU winning even though one of their best players was ejected is impressive. And now, Go Heels!

Whoa. Kneuppel almost banks in a three at the buzzer. DU four-man sprint play at the end didn’t confuse the KU defense, so kudos to them.

But if these teams play again in the tournament, not sure KU will be able to beat this team again as the two freshmen develop.

Hopefully if they do Dickinson doesn't get himself ejected from the game. If he had been in the game it might not have been this close at the end.

Watching the KU dook game now.

F2 on Dickenson was BS. The foul on Brown that started it was more dangerous than what Dickenson did. Though what Dickenson did was stupid, and he should know better as long as he's been playing. There was no reason to put his foot in the other players space and I do believe he knew what he was doing.

what dickinson did there was really reminiscent of what cormac did to puff back when he played for ND and cormac got ejected for that one, too.

gently kicked/pushed his face. cormac was pretty much looking directly at puff when he did it, though....whereas dickinson had plausible deniability because he couldn't really see brown.

i thought it was kinda harsh too but dickinson has a well-earned reputation that probably factored into the ejection. when you're already known for engaging in a bunch of nonsense extracurricular activity like dickinson is they aren't gonna give you the benefit of the doubt.

Completely true.

Thing is had Brown not undercut him, which was a greater risk of injury, then Dickenson doesn't end up on the floor with the opportunity.

Has The Nipple had a good game yet? I keep seeing his stat lines, and they keep reminding me of freshman Caleb Love. Maybe junior Caleb Love In any event, not a player who looks like a major contributor on a good team.

Their first game of the year against some scrub team he tore it up.

He was 0-8 from 3 against Kansas. And that's supposed to be his strong point.

I have to admit that my juvenile sense of humor comes out when I hear his name.

They don’t play similar styles. Nip will be good for them unfortunately if he starts to shoot 40%+

Only against the bad teams so far. Not a good sign.

The ACC is a shell of itself. After the first ten games of the ACC/SEC Challenge it is 9-1 with ACC teams losing some games by these margins: -15, -13, -23, -10, -26, -22, -21. The only saving grace was Clemson beating #4 Kentucky. If UNC and dook lose tonight that will be their 4th and 3rd losses respectively. Now all those losses would have been to top ranked teams except for our loss to Michigan State but they aren't a terrible team. Weird times.
