Everyone on here uses AI in advancing or refuting arguments.
LOL. You just can't comprehend what it's like to know things. AI didn't tell me about Grutter v Bollinger. I know it. I know the holding, what the case was about, how O'Connor approached the issue, etc. And that, factually speaking as you can see, is where DEI came from.

I never ask AI for help advancing or refuting arguments. I don't need to. I've been doing this since long before chat GPT was even a concept.

Most of the other lawyers on the board would, I imagine, be far closer to me on this issue than to you.

DEI existed before CRT.
Not really. I mean, it depends on what you mean by DEI but that phrase in particular is newer than CRT.

They just don't have anything to do with each other. Is it shocking that Ramrouser has no ability to make distinctions on issues pertaining to race?

US civil rights movement is consistently referenced as the jump off of DEI, but with use of synonyms and varying word arrangements. CRT is a 1970s term. Not sure the quibble is worth the correction, given the of context.

Incorrect. I made a simple and direct prompt of whether DEI has its roots in CRT. Everyone on here uses AI in advancing or refuting arguments.
Wow, so I tried to get chatGPT to agree with you and yet it didn't agree with you...

Here's what was returned from a deliberate attempt, by me, to get chatgpt to associate CRT and DEI as you did.

Critical Race Theory (CRT) and Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) are distinct concepts with different origins, though they both address systemic inequalities.

🧠 Critical Race Theory (CRT)

CRT emerged in the late 1970s and early 1980s as a response to perceived limitations in traditional civil rights approaches. Legal scholars, including Derrick Bell and Kimberlé Crenshaw, developed CRT to examine how laws and legal institutions perpetuate racial inequalities. CRT posits that racism is not just individual prejudice but is embedded in legal systems and policies. It challenges the idea of "colorblindness" in law and emphasizes the importance of storytelling and lived experiences in understanding racial dynamics .Time+1Encyclopedia Britannica+1Encyclopedia Britannica

🌍 Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI)

DEI initiatives have roots in the civil rights movements of the 1960s, particularly following the Civil Rights Act of 1964, which prohibited discrimination based on race, color, religion, sex, or national origin. These laws prompted organizations to develop programs aimed at promoting diversity and ensuring equal opportunities. Over time, DEI expanded to encompass broader aspects of identity, including gender, disability, and sexual orientation .Forbes

🔍 Relationship Between CRT and DEI

While both CRT and DEI address issues of inequality, they operate in different spheres. CRT is an academic framework used primarily in legal and policy analysis, whereas DEI is a set of organizational practices aimed at creating more inclusive environments. DEI initiatives often draw on insights from CRT to inform their strategies, but they are not derived from CRT. The claim that CRT is the origin of DEI is not accurate; rather, DEI evolved from broader civil rights efforts and organizational responses to systemic inequalities.

anonymous comments from consultants posting on message boards is, of course, the gold standard for evidence-based argument.

The people who post shit on glassdoor are usually disgruntled and they are young. And at Booz Allen, they are arrogant and they think they know everything. I speak from experience. I knew a lot of management consultants in the day. My gf worked at Booz Allen one summer.

And also, that comment does not say what you think it says. It means things are going smoothly.
Where did you get the gold standard bit?
These people weren’t disgruntled.
But ok.

That's because the people "somewhere" are comparing 2019 dollars to 2025 revenues. The same people who complained loudly about Bidinflation. Also, how the fuck are we supposed to reset SS and Medicare spend? Aging populations require more medical care. Boomers continue to age into social security.

And anyway, what problem do you think you're solving? Waste in government? On what basis are you claiming that the expansion of federal spending after 2019 was all or even primarily wasteful? For instance, we spent like $60B more on emergency relief in 2024 than in 2019. That's not because of waste. It's because climate change has made the storms more powerful, and because states continue to subsidize inefficient building in flood zones. Which I suppose is a form of waste but not what you are talking about.

Definitely a racist comment! And your comrades gave it a thumbs up!!

Given that I'm white I don't think it's racist to say immigrants, whether legal or undocumented, work ten times harder than most of the toothless honkies who vote for Donald Trump. It's no secret the immigrants do all the jobs the disgusting, lazy whites who make serial applications for disability until they get the right liberal judge won't do. The immigrants pay plenty into the system too, and the undocumented ones have no hope of ever getting anything back for it. Meanwhile, these broke ass lazy whites live some bizarre Walter Mitty existence voting for Trump and rationalizing they deserve their entitlements while nobody else does.
