I’ll give this administration credit for one thing: they come up with the lamest names for things. “Operation Epic Fury.” It’s like they get 8-year-old boys to come up with that. No offense to 8-year-old boys.
Can I trademark “Operation My Big Ten Inch” or will the family of Bull Moose Jackson (or even Aerosmith) cockblock me?

The problem is that that the Republican Party hasn't put him on a muzzle and a leash. They control all the branches of government and done their best to wreck all of them. A big eff you to you and all your ilk. Everybody that dies is partly your responsibility and every American that dies is fully on you.
If that's true then every life saved due to a neutered iran is credited to the republican party. History tells us there will be tens of thousands more who live than die so.....
And thanks for finally taking responsibility for all the people killed and victimized from illegal aliens allowed in by the democratic party. Glad the light bulb is coming on for you.

The space under your rock is getting cold. Better get back ASAP.

Yet, Bush, Clinton, Bush, Obama, and Biden sat back and allowed iran to get on the verge of nuclear weapons. So, yea, as it relates to preventing the worst sponsor of terrorism the world has ever seen from acquiring a nuclear weapon and improving human rights for an entire country, peace is exactly what he is trying to achieve. No president in history has done more to improve peace in the middle east than trump. Any semblance of objectivity would show that. World consensus is that no, iran shouldn't have a nuclear weapon but nobody was willing to step up, including the pre-trump US. Time hasn't aged well for all the comments regarding the US ceding its world leadership position to russia, china, and europe. Especially in the middle east.

It will do a hell of a lot more than your fellating of Donald Trump.

Oh, and Iran is not even remotely close to having nuclear weapons.

But we can certainly all rest assured that now every nation on earth will trip.over themselves to build and develop nukes because they are the only weapons thay prevent American aggression.
Nah, my feelings on trump have zero influence on the world.

Didn't realize you were an expert on iran's nuclear capability and enrichment activities. Need to see some credentials before that comment can be believed.

History tells us that isn't the case.

Yeah, as I said at the time, it was immoral for him to call on the protests to proceed, claim the U.S. would back them and then sit back and watch the slaughter. He wanted credit for some people getting tortured and shot instead of hanged.

Bombing Iranian leaders weeks later doesn’t change that.

It will take time to know what the actual outcome of all this is. If it’s like a lot of posturing and quick hits Trump does, it’ll be sound and fury, signifying nothing, if we’re lucky.

Regime change is possible. Organized regime change that doesn’t end in chaos, terrorist resistance and/or months or years of sectarian civil war? That would be a rabbit out of a hat.

Could risk of terrorist retaliation be used as a pretense for yet another emergency declaration, this time to seize the means of elections ahead of the midterms? It sounds a lot less paranoid today than I’d have said a few months ago. There are plenty of breadcrumbs and people in his orbit agitating for just that (though they may not have predicted an alleged or genuine terrorist threat arising from another U.S./Israeli attack on Iran as the exact mechanism).
Even beyond a terrorist attack on US soil, I'm also concerned about the fact that Iran is weak and its leadership clearly feels threatened. They have what is essentially an entire country full of civilian hostages. Who knows what they might decide to do with them if things get ugly and regime change is on the horizon.

By my count, this is like the third time or so that Trump has attacked Iran between two terms. Both times, Iran didn't much respond. So I would think by now they know they have got to put a stop to this and it would also work for them politically. They should have plenty of Shahed drones. I expect them to use them just like Russia. Bomb the hell how of the gulf states that donated to Trump's Board of Peace and who give him money under the table. Plus, close the strait if they can. It won't take long for Trump to TACO.

The administration assured us in June of 2025 that the nuclear program in Iran was completely obliterated. Which time did they lie?

I have both/every time in the pool.

The military in Iran is far more powerful internally than it used to be, and Khamenei is elderly and in many ways more of a figurehead of religious power, so killing Khamenei isn’t decapitating the power structure of Iran in the same way it would have been decades ago. Iranians who support the regime have been prepared to accept a replacement of Khamenei for at least a decade simply because of his age.

Maybe I'm overly optimistic, but I don't see attacking Iran as an expensive, drawn out war. Iran did a little more than nothing in retaliation against Israel. There's no reason to believe they would be able to put up any kind of fight against the US.

going on 6 years and you guys are still being tortured by everything he says because you haven't learned to speak trump. If you took his comments literally after the first bombing then you are an idiot. Did you literally believe that one big bomb wiped out all of iran's nuclear development? Do you not have some perspective? When he made that comment I took it to mean we accomplished a few things.
- Hurt their immediate capability
- Sent a message that we were serious about them not getting a bomb and weren't afraid to act
- Get them more willing to negotiate on our terms.

Lol at anyone who takes everything he says literally and gets all bent out of shape saying everything is a lie. His entire adult public life has been nothing but metaphors. "greatest economy in history", "nobody can believe it", etc. Nobody but the far left takes that crap seriously. I think he knows it and does it to troll people like you.
