Again... why wouldn't Hamas ,TODAY, release all the hostages to get aid their citizens?

If it were me, I'd be afraid Israel would be even worse without the prisoners. But maybe that's misguided. It doesn't seem like having the prisoners has done much to hold back Israel.

At this point I think Bibi has weathered the storm of the prisoners' families. They are an advantage for him now because he can say he's not going to have a ceasefire or a peace treaty until Hamas gives back those prisoners and Hamas does not seem inclined to do it because they don't know what Bibi will do the next day.

Bibi literally said that they are currently prioritizing the “destruction of Hamas” over the safety of the remaining hostages. Zen isn’t up to date on the talking points.

They can work to get the hostages released at the same time as prioritizing destroying Hamas.

They've also said recently that they are denying aid pending release of hostages.

I think I’ve made a name for myself on this board as someone who does the opposite of “playing the race card.” I do, however, call a spade a spade.

You’re one of the most prevalent archetypes on the internet. The “libertarian” who imbibed way too much Sam Harris during the Iraq War years.

So, you say Hamas wants to get of Israelis, however, Israel is LITERALLY doing that to Palestinians, and you need more proof? They are literally starving all the Palestinians in Gaza and have destroyed/damaged nearly every building in Gaza and they want to expel what remaining survivors there are. Then, they are literally starting the same thing in the West Bank, yet, you need more evidence? Literally thousands of Palestinian children are about to starve to death because of Israel. What is your justification for that?

Gay rights definitely play into morality, which was your claim. If you kill someone for their sexuality, you are scum. No questions. Hamas doesn’t accept gays. They don’t tolerate gays. That’s a no-go me on anyone saying they are moral. Total joke.

Who has said Hamas was moral? The argument was that Israel was not superiorly moral to Hamas. They are just as bad. The difference is one is called a terrorist group and the other is an ally. How does that make sense? Hamas is a terrorist group and Israel is a terrorist state.
 
So…what’s the term that we can describe this if it’s not genocide or ethnic cleansing? Or is this all part of their self defense?
It’s funny how a few of the posters called me crazy for saying back in October 2023 that this was Israel’s end goal from the start. Netanyahu and his thugs don’t care about the hostages, much less the Palestinians. This will never give them security and will put their civilians at more risk.
