I am sorry for your loss, Snoop. However, with the current political climate, I can't think of a better time for a Canadian team to be in the World Series. I don't particularly have anything against the Dodgers, except perhaps that Giants' fandom epoch from my youth. I'll be rooting for the American League and, more importantly, our northern neighbors. GO, CANADA!

I hate how I view so many events through a trump lens. It’s really fucking awful and I need to figure out how to change it.

That being said, what an amazing anti-trump series. A team that embraces and protects its immigrant fans/communities and a Canadian team. Trumps been disrupting major sporting events this year and I seriously doubt he makes a trip to Toronto or LA. Which is great for fans. I’m sure there will be some petty, childish tweet attacking the mlb, LA, and Toronto cause that’s he can’t not inject himself into everything.

I hope we get at least 6 games, but the Dodgers seem so dominant right now.
