Roll Call: Who is voting early? Who is waiting til Nov. 5 (and why?)

My wife and I have voted absentee for many years, and we've never had any problems. You can check a website and make sure that your vote was counted. We voted absentee earlier this week.

We vote election day. In Cary the only times we have ever waited in lines to vote are when we have voted early. Farmington Woods Elementary is our polling place. We walk there with the dogs and take turns going in to vote then walk back home.

This has been my experience too. My Election Day polling place never has long lines.

Go Whirlies! (Sorry if that brings up painful memories, lol)
na it's cool. Other than a few spats here and there, we're on pretty good terms.

I was actually an athletic trainer for Grimsly for a year. I've got good memories of my time at Grimsly.

I voted late yesterday evening and had a short wait. I had noted a super long line at my usual voting location so I switched.

Oh, and go Red Raiders! High Point Andrews represent!

My wife's policy is to vote on election day, as well. Her uncle was a politician in Pennsylvania for 20+ years, so she relishes election day.

I am planning on voting early. I made an attempt yesterday, but the voting site had about 20 cars waiting in line to park. I may try to get over there today.

the lines were obscenely long thurs and fri at the one early voting location nearest 80% of the dare county outer banks population.

i'll try again next week. i'm sure it will be better. i'm working at my hometown polling location for 2 hours on election day but i'd prefer to have it done by then.

North Carolina (and everywhere else that uses paper ballots) could speed up the process exponentially by having computerized voting machines. That seems so much quicker than coloring in every individual square.
Live in NC and have used computerized voting machines as far back as I can remember.
