Russian forces have officially reached Dnepropetrovsk region. I can't tell from the sat photos, but looks like they arrived via ATV. Regardless, Europe needs Ukraine to hold on while they build up, otherwise the Baltics are at risk. They can't be defended if Ukraine is subdued.

Agree. And the Baltic States are next. The problem there, at least from a tactical standpoint, is they are small. If that attack comes to pass, then NATO will have to respond. If America doesn’t come to their aid, then our word in the world won’t be worth a plugged nickel.

You are seriously deranged.

No way that will happen. You know it. TRUMP lives in your head 24/7-365.

Get a new hobby.
If you can’t see that Putin is trying to reconstitute the former Soviet Union then you are deranged one. The fall of Ukraine will lead to more acts of aggression by Putin. If you can’t see that, then you know nothing about the history of Europe. And I assure you, I know more about it than you do.

Welcome to 1946. Things aren’t like they were when you were screaming “peace, love, dope.”

It’s a pipe dream that the left harps on.

Come up with new material.
What’s your fucking problem? Are you Putin’s bitch along with Trump? Please give us some historical basis for your opinions. The Russians have a long history of being an aggressive power in Europe. Since Trump has abandoned our allies of the last 80 years, they have had to change their approach to defense of themselves. None of the countries in Europe trust the Russians. The Finns, Poles , French, British and Germans (just to name a few) don’t trust the Russians as far as they can throw them. Ukraine is just the first step in a Russian attempt to dominate Europe. Putin made the worst mistake a military leader can make. He over estimated his army’s ability and underestimated Ukraine’s resolve and ability.

I value your commentary. The handle you're responding to absolutely does not.

My request, if you feel the need to respond to bad faith trolls and bots, don’t use the reply function. At least make them read the board and not just their mentions. Copy, paste, quotations, then respond.

Thanks for the advice.

Yes… by all means. Keep this place clean and clear of the facts.

None of you have discussed the Joe Biden BS.

They faked a “Town Hall” with paid attendees that he performed so badly in they couldn’t use in campaign ads!

I guess if you don’t have to acknowledge it you never have to admit it happened.

Typical.

And you really wonder why you lost to Trump?

For such an elite educated group the lack of common damn sense runs deep.

Putin is signaling that a major part of his offensive is going to be on Northern Border areas of Kharkiv and Sumy. That's one thing I have always liked about the Russians. Never much deception.

But this emphasis may tell us something. Unless Trump can give him more then he can get on his own, then he knows he's got to worry about defending his own territory from Ukrainian counter pushes. So grab it while he's got a little juice left in his war machine.

Ukraine is daily getting weaker while Russia is steadily getting stronger, and the Russian military has gotten a lot better at what they're doing after the disaster slaughter of the first 2 years. From a technology standpoint, Ukraine was the early innovator in UAVs, but is now firmly behind, and Russian loitering munitions are expanding quickly. Those who only follow MBT innovation miss this. While there's not a tactical collapse of Ukraine's front line yet, it's heading there, and at that point we may even see the number of attacks go down, but the attacks get larger and gain far more ground. Remember what happened after the fall of Ugledar? Russian forces rolled through large areas, whereas before that they spent ~6 months battering their way through Novomikhailovka.

I doubt Ukraine loses the war this year, but you never know with Trump scheming against them every day. They will lose ground, possibly everything south of Kramatorsk if Russia's current efforts pay off they way they seem to intend them to. But depending on just how depleted Ukraine's forces are, next year could be very very grim.
