Okay, so what land does Ukraine get? He said a couple days ago some land would be swapped. A swap works both ways, so what land is Ukraine getting?
He had no fucking clue. Russia won't be giving up anything as part of any deal. Trump was played again, by yet another global tyrant. The only people who appear to be susceptible to his primitive form of brainwashing are American conservatives. I.e., the people who, according to natural selection, would never have survived in pre-industrial times.

“… Moscow sees an opening to reset relations with Washington, with Kremlin officials hinting at the potential for deals with the U.S. on infrastructure and energy in the Arctic and beyond, as Russia’s state media plays up what it bills as a looming entente between two equal great powers.

“Neocons and other warmongers won’t be smiling” when the two leaders meet, said senior Putin aide Kirill Dmitriev. “The Putin-Trump dialogue will bring hope, peace and global security.”

Though the “Ukrainian question” has been declared to be the main item of the agenda, “much more important global issues” would be raised in Alaska, including ambitious plans for economic and infrastructure cooperation in the Arctic, senior Russian lawmaker Sergey Gavrilov said.

Alexander Yakovenko, a former ambassador who headed Russia’s foreign-service academy until last year, wrote in an op-ed for the state RIA news agency that “settling the war in Ukraine, which has been lost by the West a long time ago, has become a secondary issue in relations between the United States and Russia—nothing more than an obstacle to normalization that we must overcome together.”…”

Investigators have uncovered evidence that Russia is at least partly responsible for a recent hack of the computer system that manages federal court documents, including highly sensitive records with information that could reveal sources and people charged with national security crimes, according to several people briefed on the breach.

It is not clear what entity is responsible, whether an arm of Russian intelligence might be behind the intrusion or if other countries were also involved, which some of the people familiar with the matter described as a yearslong effort to infiltrate the system. Some of the searches included midlevel criminal cases in the New York City area and several other jurisdictions, with some cases involving people with Russian and Eastern European surnames.

The disclosure comes as President Trump is expected to meet with his Russian counterpart, Vladimir V. Putin, in Alaska on Friday, where Mr. Trump is planning to discuss his push to end the war in Ukraine.

Administrators with the court system recently informed Justice Department officials, clerks and chief judges in federal courts that “persistent and sophisticated cyber threat actors have recently compromised sealed records,” according to an internal department memo reviewed by The New York Times. The administrators also advised those officials to quickly remove the most sensitive documents from the system.

“This remains an URGENT MATTER that requires immediate action,” officials wrote, referring to guidance that the Justice Department had issued in early 2021 after the system was first infiltrated.

Ukraine’s Once Nimble Army Is Mired in Soviet Decision-Making

As U.S.-Russia summit approaches, Ukrainian military faces growing divisions between the rank-and-file and top brass. ‘If you’re dumb and obedient, they leave you alone.’

“… Three years on, Ukraine’s military has slipped back into a more rigid, top-down mode of fighting with roots in the Soviet era, creating mounting frustration about unnecessary casualties while hurting civilian morale and army recruitment. Without overhauls, the Soviet-style habits could undermine Ukraine’s ability to sustain its defense against Russia, which shows no sign of relenting in its quest to conquer the country.

Ukrainian officers and infantrymen complain of a centralized command culture that often punishes initiative and wastes men’s lives. Generals order repetitive frontal assaults that have little hope of success, and deny requests from beleaguered units to carry out tactical retreats and save their men. Casualties accumulate on operations with little strategic value.

It isn’t holding everywhere. In recent days, small groups of Russian troops have pierced Ukrainian lines at a critical spot in the eastern Donetsk region, taking advantage of Ukraine’s infantry shortage. Kyiv is scrambling to stanch the advance.

Russia’s military suffers from far greater problems of an iron-fisted hierarchy that treats men as disposable. Its inefficiency helps explain why Russia has struggled to turn its advantages in numbers into a decisive breakthrough so far, instead inching forwards at great cost for the past two years.

But the issue is more critical for Ukraine, which can’t replace its losses as easily as Russia.

Russian President Vladimir Putin has made that central to his strategy. Moscow is aiming to eventually force Ukraine’s capitulation by wearing out its army and outlasting its Western support.…”

Trump is the most useful idiot in the history of this country - not sure there's a viable contender. He's an idiot for Putin. He's an idiot for authoritarians the world over. He's an idiot for the most corrupt people on the planet. He's an idiot for Christo-Nationalists. He's an idiot for white supremacists.

Most alarming, he's an idiot for Nazis filling the ranks of the American government and military.

Why do men who identify as alphas, like Trump, whine and complain endlessly? Is there a single woman in the world who is looking to mate with a chronic crybaby?
