And you are wrong, but he loves that you are so naive. He does have a number of government contracts. I think that cutting unrelated contracts to save taxpayer dollars is the reason he is doing DOGE.

GT isn't a serious poster. This is trolling, no one is this naive.I can’t take anyone seriously who believes musk is doing this selflessly with America’s best interest at heart.
You’d have to be incredibly stupid to think that.
I think we will eventually see no cuts to Social Security as part of DOGE except around the edges like closing rural SSA offices. I think we will see significant cuts to Medicaid which will eventually mostly be rolled back as folks realize their local hospital will close, and some significant cuts to VA which will be somewhat rolled back as VA is expensive and tends to have a small voting block.
Define enormous?I think we will eventually see no cuts to Social Security as part of DOGE except around the edges like closing rural SSA offices. I think that we may see some combination of raising the social security age or raising the income contribution cap as part of Congressional action.
I think they should hire more inspectors general to go after Medicare and Medicaid fraud which is enormous but Doge is going the other way for headlines and to punish Trump perceived enemies. I hope they hire more inspectors even if it is within HHS, and the mandate is to focus purely on medicaid and Medicare fraud.
I actually think the VA is pretty efficient. Maybe roll back some of the overseas locations but in general, I don't think they will find too much fraud or waste.
$100B a year.Define enormous?
And what a stupid plan, cut medicaid, then roll back the cuts when they fail.
So much efficiency, it's mind boggling.
Do you understand how hysterical you sound? This dumbass is willing to dismantle our government’s ability to conduct medical research, predict weather, assure our food and drug supplies are safe, keep toxins out our water supply, educate and feed school children, defend ourselves from Russian cyber attacks, and surrender Ukraine to Russia while emboldening them to try the same tactics on other Eastern European nations, all for $100 billion in ghost money.
Can you explain that the first thing that goes in every thing that they touch are the people in oversight positions? The last thing they want is actual oversight.Do you understand how hysterical you sound?
Can you explain how hiring more fraud inspectors in HHS would lead to "dismantling our government’s ability to conduct medical research, predict weather, assure our food and drug supplies are safe, keep toxins out our water supply, educate and feed school children, defend ourselves from Russian cyber attacks, and surrender Ukraine to Russia while emboldening them to try the same tactics on other Eastern European nations"?
You are the one who said “I do think that Musk is in it primarily for the budget cutting for the well being of the American people.”Do you understand how hysterical you sound?

Yes. I mentioned I didn't support that aspect. You do realize people can support the overall goal of cutting the budget without supporting every cut? You can even try it yourself. You are the one who said “I do think that Musk is in it primarily for the budget cutting for the well being of the American people.”
I am simply pointing out the results of Musk’s “budget cutting.” The Inspector Generals were among the first let go by Musk’s storm troopers. This what you are supporting.
Yea, that's what he's saying. Until they have to pay more to hire contractors to replace the people fired. And they have to increase in the coming years to help the people they are fucking now.$100B a year.
Based on the comments from the last couple of pages I'm so glad that I put him on ignore a few weeks ago. He's a classic contrarian troll who loves to play devil's advocate and stir shit up and get people worked up on nearly every thread he posts on. There's almost nothing "serious" about him, and he certainly doesn't argue in good faith - he just argues to argue and to get people mad and then sit back and enjoy stirring them up some more.I strongly encourage y’all to stop quoting gt - alert bubbles are his ambrosia. It only encourages his very effective troll game.
First, that is not Musk's number. That is Biden era HHS's number.Yea, that's what he's saying. Until they have to pay more to hire contractors to replace the people fired. And they have to increase in the coming years to help the people they are fucking now.
Do you believe that the money for Medicare doesn't have a purpose?
Oh and by the way, that $100B would have easily been covered by the taxes that Must avoided with the last trump tax cut, wonder how much he will save on the next trump billionaire tax cut. And you're ignorant enough to believe he actually cares.
He could have taken the $55B he's lost on Twitter, paid taxes at the previous rate and Medicare would be safe, SS would not need to be cut, and he would still be the richest cunt in the world. You just keep kissing his ass and telling everyone how wonderful he is as he fucks the country.
gt’s typical response: “Do you understand how hysterical you sound?”The mundane concern trolls will spout some milquetoast variation of “gotta crack a few eggs” when: bird flu overwhelms us and/or Russia nucs Kyiv and/or the economy enters a full recession (while ttump and Elon get unfathomably richer) and/or Europe is forced into a continental war and/or unemployment reaches 7% and/or dozens of kids die every year from measles and/or the middle class is decimated and upward mobility is purely a favors game and/or elections become overtly rigged and/or Russia hacks financial systems and evaporates billions in American wealth and/or North Korea hacks municipal utilities resulting in widespread power outrages and poisoning of water systems and/or the US invades Canada and begins mass war crimes and/or right wing militias are enacting stochastic violence and extrajudicial “justice” on the streets of American cities they so despise and/or elderly Americans die in the streets due to the evisceration of SSA and CMS and/or …
It’s quite unlikely all the above occur, but it’s possible. It’s highly likely at least one occur, and that’s one too many. See, all of the above are catastrophes this admin was handed the ready made tools to prevent, or at least significantly mitigate, and have subsequently dismantled. The chaos being wrought is nakedly about power and financial consolidation- nakedly. Yet, when one, or multiple, of the above happen, the same concern trolls will do exactly what they’re doing now. Absolutely nothing will change, bc this isn’t about understanding, learning, caring for others, it’s about attention, manipulation, self-involvement, and tribalism.
