"Not to pick a fight."

Proceeds to call the entire board socialists.

Grow up, dude.
Indeed. And yet so many conservatives who posted in this style on the old ZZLP (and apparently now here) claim that they just don't understand why other posters get so frustrated and rude with them and don't take their thoughts or postings seriously. This entire exchange with PBO is like Exhibit A for why so many people keep saying that posters like this are trolls and not serious posters. And with that I'll shut up and return to reading the thread.

Trump simply can’t process how someone can celebrate all sides of their heritage.

Apparently in MAGAland you can only be Indian-American or African-American, but not both. When in fact increasing numbers of Americans are mixed race and manage to celebrate both sides of their heritage all the time. It's also flat-out hypocritical to slam Harris for this when the great J.D. Vance is married to an Indian-American woman and their kids have mixed heritage. Is J.D. just raising them as white?

Most likely, yes.

Of course the typical Trump self own of being a moron overshadows everything. But did Harris actually participate via zoom at some point?

I've heard nothing of her remarks, comments, or answers to questions. Maybe the event is still going on.

I’m very curious about the debates.

We all know Trump is a child, so even if his camp is saying no debates, he won’t be able to resist the bait when the narrative is he’s scared. But then I can’t imagine a debate with Harris turning out much better than yesterday against a career prosecutor who is 10x sharper than him.

Did you even read the shared article? It specifically refutes the argument you're attempting to make. You want to have an honest discussion, then actually focus on the merits of the case. Stop trying to obfuscate the topic by bringing unrelated strawmen.

The conviction was clear, the evidence that drove that conviction was clear, and it was a unanimous verdict by a jury, not some partial judge.

Since you don't care to actually read, here's the quoted text for your consumption:

“The finding that Ms. Carroll failed to prove that she was ‘raped’ within the meaning of the New York Penal Law does not mean that she failed to prove that Mr. Trump ‘raped’ her as many people commonly understand the word ‘rape,’ ” Kaplan wrote. He added: “Indeed, as the evidence at trial recounted below makes clear, the jury found that Mr. Trump in fact did exactly that.”

Kaplan said New York’s legal definition of “rape” is “far narrower” than the word is understood in “common modern parlance.”

The former requires forcible, unconsented-to penetration with one’s penis. But he said that the conduct the jury effectively found Trump liable for — forced digital penetration — meets a more common definition of rape. He cited definitions offered by the American Psychological Association and the Justice Department, which in 2012 expanded its definition of rape to include penetration “with any body part or object.”
The NY definition of rape is very narrow. When Congress talks about how many rape cases there are in the military those numbers include the exact conduct Donald Trump was found to have done by a jury of his peers.

He was found guilty of forcing his fingers into a woman's vagina against her will. That is a fact. Those that want to enable him and excuse that behavior can call it whatever they want. That is on them. End of discussion and there is nothing to argue about.

Don't feed the dishonest enabling cultist trolls. Let's stick to the topics.

This needs all of JD’s dumbass name changes, too…
I disagree about the name changes — I think people should let those go as signs of a guy sorting through a traumatic childhood and ultimately taking his grandmother’s last name.

I saw on a news broadcast that the NABJ and Kamala are trying to schedule a question-and-answer session in September.

I’m genuinely trying to figure out what the hell the angle is here. I know we’re not talking about the most rational human being, but what does this whole Black vs. Indian thing accomplish? I know he has permanent residence in Crazytown but did he decide to buy vacation property in WTFville too?

Does he really think this is going to swing a single vote away from Harris?

He’s just firing up his base again after punching them in the balls by fake-denouncing Project 2025. Fortunately, the dynamic has changed such that a fired up MAGA base will not be enough.
