Small sampling but I called 2016 and 2020 correctly. I hope I'm wrong. Hope that was in fact a terrible take on my part.

There are literally Americans loudly complaining that prices aren't going back down (hey, your wages are going up, dipshits) and a GOP candidate who is apparently paying no price for promising massive tariffs that will lead to an inflationary doom loop, and you're blaming Dems for not explaining economics to Americans?

I admit I tuned out largely for a while around 2021-2023. If that was the case they were making during those years, I imagine it wouldn't work. Because, as you say, Americans don't understand but also because the favorable statistics only just now gotten in our favor the past year or so.

We'll see. But I think it a grave mistake. Hope I'm wrong.

I guarantee you they have looked at that line of attack, and found it wanting. Probably because, "more Americans died of Covid under Biden than Trump" which is more idiotic nonsense but people believe it because I guess they think the president has unlimited magical powers.

Obviously very nervous and anxious about the election but this rally failure has been the equivalent of a Xanax.
