TV Streaming series to talk about.

My wife and I started Dying for Sex yesterday. First two episodes are decent.

Makes one think about how they would handle knowing that they had a short period of time before dying.

A co-worker had terminal cancer, he rented a huge house on the ocean and told everyone he knew that there was an open door policy to visit.

He only lived 18 months after diagnoses.

But you never know how it's going to go. My old neighbor was given 9 months to live when diagnosed. I've lost touch, but the last time I spoke with him he was at 9 years of living with it.

Not sure this one has been mentioned before but my wife and I just watched the 3rd American season of Love on the Spectrum on Netflix. If you're not familiar, it follows an assortment of people on the autism spectrum who are trying to find love. There was a single Australian season before the three American ones. Obviously quite different from other shows and may not be everybody's cup of tea but we have found it to to be incredibly touching, funny, heartwarming and insightful.

Started watching the new season of Black Mirror. I don't know if I can stand to binge watch it with the real world already depressing enough.

My family watches all of those.

My youngest daughter is on the spectrum.

It's a great series.

I started rewatching all of these knowing the new season was coming.

Love Black Mirror, though every episode is not a 10 of 10.

By the way, Dying for Sex episode 3 and 4 really went downhill.

It got away from the touching cancer battle and life decisions, to more of she's fucking everyone.

Don't forget that The Last of Us season 2 starts tonight on Max.
Is it one episode per week?

I'm still behind on Severance, so I may wait to start Last of Us.

That and my wife and I are watching White Lotus and Dying for sex (thankfully it's a limited series).

Watched the USS Callister sequel last night. It was excellent, IMO.

First two episodes of Hacks were really well written. Deborah and Ava are out of control and they are hurting themselves and the launch of the show. Acting was terrific.

Need keep an eye on Kayla, she is still a dope but she is sincere and she is a member of Idiocracy and my be able to bring a broader vistas to Deborah’s show (if anyone takes her seriously enough to consider her dingbat ideas and remember that she is reflecting a large digngbat culture). And Kayla’s bizarre new assistant was hilarious. I would have thought Kayla only irks against straight-man foil but shows what I know, at least in the first two episodes.

And Season 2 is coming. But that is a lot to follow.

Great show. In a trailer and an interview Noah Wyle said that their goal was to be as accurate and factual as possible.

My daughter, who is a nurse, has loved it for that fact.
Loved, loved, loved The Pitt.

Read an interview with the creators last Friday. They said they filmed the Rooftop scene in the Finale on one of the first days of filming. At one point, Abbott tells Robby "that was a helluva speech you gave." The creators revealed in the interview they hadn't even written the speech until much later in the process of writing the season.

Could definitely see Wyle getting an Emmy for that episode.

Also read that Season 2 will be set around the following 4th of July such that somewhere around 8 to 9 months will have passed since Hour 15 of Season 1.
