He may not be a “pro” in the true sense. But it’s very clear he put a lot of work and premeditation into this. The shell casing inscriptions, having an apparently untraceable e-bike planted a block away, footage of him talking on the phone minutes before the shooting… after learning all this I’d be surprised if he’s still in Manhattan.
He’s obviously not going to get away though. So either they’ll catch him very soon or he’ll take his own life or both. I just hope he doesn’t involve anyone else and try to go down in a blaze.

If the facial recognition software says the hostel photos are a match -- and I've got to think they have used face recognition software -- then I will trust that over the human eye.

Apparently it’s still not nearly as surveilled as London.
I wouldn't be shocked if he is gone at this point. He planned this out well. The next step very well may have been catching a one-way redeye flight from LaGuardia to Amsterdam on a ticket he bought weeks ago. Did the authorities delay any flights yesterday?
