Yes - I have a lot of cousins that love Trump and I doubt any of them go to church. They all love that he want to keep immigrants out, though.
 
I believe there is significant Trump fatigue, even among “conservatives” outside the MAGA bubble. People remember the chaos and utter exhaustion of the Trump years and when they walk into that voting booth and have to decide “do I want to go back to that shitshow?” I think a whole lot of people who have voted for him before will say no. Add that to the surge in young voters, the gender gap, and abortion propositions on the ballot is many states and I think it just points to this election favoring a normal person like Harris.

One of the Jeff Jackson commercials pointed out how Dan Bishop is such an extremist, and Jackson closed with saying “I am running for Attorney General as basically a normal person.” I think that resonates.

Even Trumpers know that Donald Trump is the cause of most of the division and political mayhem in this country. They might not admit it but they know it. Healing cannot happen if there is irritation, infection annd inflammation present and Donald Trump is an open wound on American politics. I just think there are enough people in enough states who have simply had enough. Trump has spent the last few weeks showing the electorate why they should vote against him and I believe they will.

I'm not super excited about this. Trump is counting on turning out low propensity voters. Now maybe these low propensity voters are on our side, or maybe their attachment to Trump was weak and has been severed by his crazy this year, but this is what Trump wants and needs to see.

That said, if it's a special Florida thing, then maybe it's PR's revenge. Maybe Ohio too?

If AlaMaine is in play, Trump is a dead man walking…..and I’m worried this will be Harris 270 Trump 268 or Trump 276 Harris 262.

It's probably just rounding error. Nate doesn't try to predict outcomes. He tries to predict EVs.
