Trump spends a surprising amount of time being offended on behalf of Joe Biden these days.

All the racism blotted out a policy proposal Trump lifted from the Harris campaign last night:

“I will massively cut taxes for workers and small businesses and we will have no tax on tips, no tax on overtime and no tax on social security benefits for our seniors. And I’m announcing a new policy today that I will support a tax credit for family caregivers who take care of a parent or a loved one. It’s about time that they were recognized. They add so much to our country and are never spoken of ever, ever, ever. But they’re going to be spoken of now.…”

I love this . .

Where did you find this? Where is this ad running?

It might hold the key to the whole election. I read somewhere that one mystery in AZ is that it's GOP women in particular who are voting early, much more than GOP men. Which could be a sign that Republican women who feel intimidated by their husbands are trying to vote when the husbands aren't around to harass them.

If this is happening in a lot of places -- and if it applies to women who answer polls with husbands present -- it could be huge. This could be earthquake level if it's occurring en masse, which we don't know.

Democratic Underground.

I've been a member for years.

Oh snap, I’ve made a mistake! I voted early and my wife is waiting until Election Day. I should’ve made sure to go with her so that I could “harass” her from the voting booth next to her on Election Day.

Edit: since heelsfan108 reacted “wow” to my post - the above was sarcasm, for anyone who didn’t know. I find it hard to believe that any significant portion of men would harass their wives at the ballot box, so it was a joke. Thought that was clear.

What you say in jest, many men wouldn't.

What ever happened to that bombshell revelation that would “end Trump’s campaign”?

I don't know what qualifies as significant but I know one suburban wife/mom who told my wife that her husband won't let her vote for a Democrat.

I don't know which thread this should be asked in but I was wondering why so many rich people are supporting a person who is promising across the board tariffs and the exporting of tens of millions of workers. Are they so short sighted that they think that the tax cuts will make up for the damage that that could do to the economy? Are they betting that Trump will not do either of those things? Is it that they feel obligated to back the guy who has shown to use the power of the office for vengeance?

I get the Bezos situation because Trump backed him in a corner. I sort of get Musk because Trump could reward his loyalty via government contracts. But your average billionaire shouldn't be supporting Trump in my opinion.
