We can agree to disagree then - nothing bad about that! The difference, in my estimation, for why the Biden comment is still creating so many waves while the Puerto Rico comment has mostly been forgotten is because things said by the sitting POTUS just reach a much wider audience than things said by a comedian I'd never heard of who was one of the opening acts at a Trump rally.I’m just telling you. All of non-MAGA social media and non-right wing media sources have moved far past whatever non-candidate Joe Biden said on a Zoom interview.
If you think that Biden calling Trump supporters garbage is going to have more of a net positive for Trump than the Trump campaign calling Puerto Ricans garbage is going to have a net negative in a state like Pennsylvania where there are 400,000 Puerto Ricans, we’re definitely gonna have to agree to disagree.
Plus, all the Trump folks have embraced being called "deplorables" before by Hillary - so Biden's comment was perhaps a minor little jumpstart to remind some of those people what the Democrats think about them.
